The punch arrived boxed with a ruler, two spare punch plates and a screwdriver for changing them, the latter in a small keeper that holds one punch plate and the screwdriver. All hole sizes punch cleanly and with little effort in leather. I have other punches, but none that have such nice handles. It closes and secures to a nice size when not in use. My hands are small and I thought these looked wide when the grips were open. They are, but I find they are easily managed with one hand, while holding the leather in the other. I am use to using an Osborn punch, but the punch plate gets worn and you have to buy another. I am starting off happy. There are many holes to punch before I rest. It feels like a tool that will last for years and thousands of holes, and with a 5-year warranty I feel even more confident. I am sure to punch thousands of holes in leather of all kinds and thicknesses this year! Will update if there are any changes in performance.

Finally I get this tool and I must admit it works well and leaves a nice clean hole punched. I initially rated this bad due to long delivery but Amazon owned up to their mishap so here we go. I had an idea to save the company I work for a nice chunk of change and in order to do so I needed a tool to punch through a laminated piece of aluminum. The aluminum already has a hole in it but when I laminate it it covers up the hole and prior to having this tool I had to use a drill. This leather tool punch is awesome and I went to work on a Saturday and tested it. Great tool design would not change a thing, you guys might helped my career out. Thanks a bunch.

i purchased several high end leather belts, approx $100 + size 38 two years ago thinking the weight would gradually pusg from 36 to 38. Unfortunate turn in my health trimmed the waist back to 34. Thought about taking the belts to shoe repair expert to fix but decided to give the Executive DIY model a try. I reviewed other less expensive brands and decided to go with what looked to be he quality tool. I seldom write reviews but when a product performs as a five star product i find the time to recognize the brand. The punch worked great; it takes me about three tries with the tool to create the hole. The hole created is perfect!!!!'

I purchased this hole punch for my wife for her leather work. It feels substantial in the hand and seems ok. Its not the cheap hols such you see online. That said for some reason we can't get it make a clean hole without having to pull the leather plug out of the leather pice she's working on.. Ive tried contacting the seller but have had no reply. Disappointing..

I like the mechanics of this punch. It has gone through canvas and Velcro easily. If the punch tips were replaceable, this would be a five star tool. Longevity has yet to be determined, and suggestions for maintaining and sharpening the tips would be a big plus. I think the strike plate could be more durable, but at this price, I feel I got more than I paid for.

This hole punch works very well on leather. The only drawback is that I make holes for leather purse handles and it does not open as far as I would like to put a hole in 2 layers of leather and 2 layers of lining. But I cannot complain about the crisp holes it makes.

Doesn't work well with fabric. I'm using a very sturdy fabric, about 12oz. The problem is the punch blade does not meet the round base plate evenly causing a half punched hole. When I try to insert my snap posts into the hole it is a wrestling match, very difficult and time consuming. Also, the amount of strength I have to use to punch a hole is very strenuous and since I need to punch a lot of holes on a daily basis I will most likely injure myself with repetitive use. The company emailed me telling me to contact them if I was not happy with my purchase and I responded but never heard back. I went ahead and bought the more expensive German-made punch here on Amazon. I would like to return this, but I've probably waited too long

This is one of those tools that you don't use too often, but when you need it, you're glad to have it.It is large, heavy duty and very well built of a thick metalI like it has 6 different options of holes from 2.5 to 6 mm and you almost do not need a squeeze effort when punching a hole (even in a thick belt)
