We have been planning to buy a basketball goal for around our pool for sometime now. We delayed the purchase because they are pretty much all expensive and not always the best quality. We call it the “pool tax,” an item that should cost $10 will cost $50 just because it’s associated with a pool. So we were really happy to find this, As it’s one of the few basketball goals for pools that’s actually worth the cost. Seriously, it’s only $20 or $30 more than something that’s not worth bringing home, if that, and the quality is legit good. Assembly was not difficult, but it does require at least two people. This is especially the case for installing the backboard as you will need an additional hand to hold it in place while installing the bolts. It probably took between half an hour and an hour at the most so that’s really not bad. The directions were clear and everything you need was included, although my husband did give everything and extra twist with his socket wrench. After we got it set up, the kids played basketball in the pool nonstop that day and every day since. The wheels are nice because we can move it around or out of the way easily. All of the material seems super high-quality, I am confident that it will withstand the weather although I do plan on bringing it in over the winter. The kids can definitely get some use out of this in the basement during winter months as it does not have to be a pool basketball. In fact it can be raised in height quite substantially to just be a regular basketball goal.

This basketball not only met but exceeded our expectations. Great quality & stands up to teenage boys. The reason for 4 stars is that the net isn't very well made & isn't representative of this product as a whole. Other than that, I highly recommend this goal for poolside fun! It is getting alot of use at my house.

The overall product was great, but the flimsy hoop broke at weak welds, and also beat the hoop circle. There is a design flaw to this. seller could not send replacement hoop. offered a $60 refund, but couldnt credit a credit card. could only do pay pal credit. major hassle dealing with this whole situation and left with a broken hoop. Too bad, because it is a nice looking, sturdy product, just has an aluminum hoop that will fail the first week of use. DO NOT buy and waste your time and money with a seller that cant make it right. Hoop bracket configuration is unusual, cant find replacement part.

It was a success, the kids spend hours playing with the basketball hoop while swimming in the pool. I like that it was easy to put together and can be used with or without the pool. The backboard is sturdy and with water is the base its very secure.

This was a bitter sweet experience. We did not have very good luck with the basketball goal, but I have to say good things about the customer service. We sent them pictures of the problems we had with the goal and a COMPLETE refund was issued to us. No arguing back and forth, no hassle, they just took care of us, and we appreciate that. Thank you.

Great poolside system. Teen boys use it often. Only draw back is the rim. It’s poorly made out of aluminum tubing and bent and broke under normal use the first week. I bought a standard rim and after some small modifications was able to fit it to the goal. Works perfectly now. Customer service was awesome and very responsive.

This is very cheaply made. The backboard became discolored from the sun within a couple weeks. The first time we used it (which was about 5 weeks after receiving it) the rim got all bent up and the net started to fall off. The pole is made of thin aluminum, I can squeeze it with my hand and it flexes. The customer service was very good, otherwise I would have rated this as 1 star. They issued a full refund.
