Runs big, but so so comfy!
I bought these socks to wear for warm weather hiking to prevent super sweaty feet and just to be comfy and so far I LOVE these socks. I wear a 9.5 wide so I bought the large based on the sizing listed, but they are actually quite a bit too big, and the heel part, when I pull them up, ends up by my ankle so I decided to give the large ones to my male fiancé, who also struggles with sweaty feet while working on his feet all day, and he said he really liked them! I still have worn the large ones around the house and even while walking around with my snow boots because they are so cuddly and warm, but I’m ordering again to get the medium with hopes they’ll be the right size. Also a quick note, they start pilling right away with wearing the even just around the house, so while they are nice socks, I think extra care needs to be taken with these so to keep them nice. It comes with a little laundry bag which is nice and will come in handy for washing.

Husband loves these
The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because my husband has athletic calves and these socks are not wide enough to get up over his calves and then stay up. He resolved the problem by turning the top down and then they stay up at the lower part of his calves and do not leave a constriction mark. He probably needs knee high socks in order for them to stay up. He loves the comfort of the socks. I was impressed with the quality. Note: These are not summer socks. They would be too hot in the summer unless you live in a cold climate. They have a nice cushion for the feet unlike other "diabetic" socks. Would probably make great hiking socks.

Comfortable, washed well, no sweaty feet, did not cut into my travel swollen ankles
I got these for a winter trip to Sweden with multiple flights, a stay above the Arctic circle, and dog sledding. I don’t have diabetes but transatlantic flights always make my feet and ankles swell, and I already have thick calves. Normally after a long flight my perfectly comfortable socks are digging into me. These were amazing! I did swell but these remained comfortable, warm (but not too warm) and fit well. Even when we went from well below freezing temperatures outside, to inside where the heat always seemed to be cranked to 80 these remained comfortable and did not get sweaty or smelly. I have another long flight in a week and these are absolutely coming with me.

soft and comfortable
I have been looking and looking for a nice lightweight but warm sock that didn't leave a cut mark on my leg. And --YEAH-- I finally found it! I will be ordering more of these, definitely. Received 3 pair as ordered, so far wore one pair, washed them and air dried and just put the same pair back on. Was worried they could shrink with the wool content but they are fine. What really surprises me is how warm they are for being so lightweight.Fast forward and I ordered six more pair. I don't want to need them and have them not be available. So I stocked up. I love these socks.

Pulls on one pair
Two separate large pulls/threads on one pair by the toes, don't know whether to try and push thru with a needle or cut them, reported to amazon and they said they would report to seller but I haven't had a reply. Otherwise, I like them but can't accurately rate until I see how they hold up to washing. If they do, I will order more, although still concerned about the 2 large pulls, maybe was a return? Only socks that don't leave marks on my legs are when I look under diabetic socks and I have normal size ankles and calfs and don't have "cankles", I just find that manufacturers tend to make socks with the top made for "stick legs" which is not the general public.

Nice socks but no label of any kind
These may not have merino wool in them; they don't feel warmer than socks that don't have wool blends. They came in a bag with no labeling, i.e. no brand name or identification of what kind of socks they are. however, they are very comfortable socks and make it through the wash/dry fine. One was a tasty snack for my dog, although I wouldn't recommend them for that purpose. :-)

Great socks, they stay up and don't bind or leave a welt
My husband is not diabetic, but he's very sensitive to socks that are tight around the top. Even socks that seem loose will often leave a welt around his calf when he takes them off. I'm always searching for loose fitting socks for him, ordering different brands to try. The Facool Diabetic Socks are now his favorite. They don't bind or leave a welt but they never slip down either. It's amazing! However, I had to order a size larger than the sizing instructions indicated. He wears shoes in size 9 1/2 wide, but I had to order X-Large for him. I had no problem returning the size large for free with Amazon Prime. The socks are mostly wool, so they're nice and warm for winter. He's going to wear them in summer, too. Very grateful for these socks.

Facool WOOL socks are sized for men, not women
These are nice wool socks that do stay up; however, they are definitely sized for men, not women. I am a woman who usually wears a women's size 10 shoe. I ordered size Large socks based on the published size chart but the socks are much too wide and a bit too long for my feet. Kind of a sloppy fit. When I put a shoe on the heel of the sock pokes up above the back of the shoe.Facool's Dress Cotton socks, also size Large, fit my feet perfectly. When I put one of Facool's cotton socks next to one of Facool's wool socks the size difference is very visible - see attached photo. The gray sock is Facool's Wool sock, the Beige sock is Facool's Cotton Dress Sock. Both socks are size Large (marked with an "L" knitted into the bottom of the sock) so I know the size difference is not a matter of the package label being mismarked.I have since reordered the wool socks in size Medium. I love wool socks so I am really hoping the smaller size will fit well.I deducted two stars from my rating because the published size chart is incorrect for women, referring to the Wool socks only.
