Great Tv, PS5, Series X Gaming Ready
I already had a pretty good tv, a 2018 vizio v series 4k, but I wanted a tv that was next gen gaming ready, and this fit the bill. Its crazy to me that's there's no information or advertising of this TV having HDMI 2.1 ports, not on here, or LG website, but it has 2. If you don't know what the HDMI 2.1 ports are, they are needed to play games at 4k at 120Frames Per Second. I did a lot of research before buying this TV, and to my knowledge, this is the cheapest TV that has 2.1 Ports(most tvs average at $1k). I play games on Ps4 currently, until next gen comes out, and the gameplay is great. I have 0 input lag, and games that support HDR look great. I played around, and watched some video on what settings to apply and turn off to make the TV as lag free as possible, if you want my settings Picture Mode-Game AMD FreeSync Premium-High Instant Game Response-On HDMI Ultra Deep Color-On LED Local Dimming-OFF Smooth Gradation-OFF Tru Motion-OFF I can't comment on the sound quality of the tv speakers, as I use a sound bar. Now to the picture, I think its fantastic. Like I mentioned, I already had a pretty solid Tv to begin with, and this is noticeably better in picture quality. The picture is very crisp, and clean. Colors are super vibrant and look authentic. Only issue I have is when setting up my picture setting, when I click "apply to all inputs" it simply doesn't work for some reason. My other favorite things besides the picture are the remote, and Alexa/Google. The remote is just magical. Its like a magic wand, you just point at the screen and the arrow follows. No need to scroll to pick what show you want, just point and click. The remote also has built in Alexa and Google Assistant. Just hold down the prime video button for Alexa, or the mic button for google, and you can ask it anything a normal Assistant would do, as well as find shows/movies to watch. With Alexa, you get notifications on the TV as you would on your echo dot and such, like when a package has arrived or shipped. Overall I think its a great Tv. It has a ton of great options. It has a bunch of built in Apps, like Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Prime Video, Peacock, Apple TV, and whatever apps it doesn't have, just download them on your phone and you can stream it to the Tv. Theres also a catalog of Free Live TV for anyone considering cord cutting. FYI, my Local bestbuy had this exact model on display at my store, so I was able to check it out before purchasing. -Note, I ended up buying the TV through Bestbuy so I can't comment on any delivery concerns. They offer price match guarantee and bring it out to the car via curbside pickup so id highly recommend it.

Feature Rich TV
Very nice TV. I bought this as a secondary monitor option for 4K since the 32" options were just about the same price and offering way less features. For the price, this is a really great TV for gaming especially. It has all the resolution support you can think of and can even do 4K@120Hz which is a really nice plus but not many games I can push that many frames with yet but the option is there. FreeSync/VRR Support is also a big plus down the line, it makes for a good futureproof buy and for preparation for the next gen consoles if anyone's considering to buy this for that. Now it is a IPS(ADS) panel so keep that in mind, it won't have the best deep blacks or black uniformity in general especially compared to an OLED, but from my standpoint I really didn't notice any crazy flash lighting or IPS glow that would bother me enough to mark bad reviews on the TV in a dark room. I did calibrate my settings and I usually put my brightness not too high for most things so maybe that's a factor. Primarily I bought this as a PC/Gaming monitor so the viewing angels with a IPS panel is a must for this purchase. From a casual use though, movies, shows, and even dark room gaming it performs excellent in my opinion. The colors on this TV are fantastic, they pop out much better than my current IPS monitor and overall it provides a very crisp picture, especially when it comes to art and some editing that I do. Overall I've been very satisfied with this TV, has all the bells and whistles I need for a PC/Gaming Monitor while providing a very immersive experience with entertainment. Speakers on this TV are actually impressive out of the box, you can also tinker with Dolby Atmos and other equalizer settings depending how you want it to sound. Bass is punchy but not boomy so if you want that boomy bass then opt for a soundbar; otherwise these speakers are probably good enough for most people. The magic remote is probably the best controller I have used for a TV, I think most TVs should go for this type of controller in the future. I've had this for about a month now and haven't been disappointed turning it on every day. Highly recommend this TV, LG really outdid itself with the features on this one.

Nice TV, but default color is over saturated, and an RF (not IR) remote
Overall, I am happy with this TV. Good sound and a decent picture. I use an Android set top box to stream my TV content (Apollo Group IPTV). I found that the default picture color was over saturated. I don't know if it is due to my Android box or the TV itself. It took a while, but I was able to adjust the picture quality to my personal preference. The second thing I discovered is that it has a Radio Frequency (RF) remote. This presents a problem when you want to control the TV and another device (such as my set top box) with one remote. I ended up having to buy a Inteset Universal IR remote (most all the buttons are programmable) and a FLICR USB IR receiver, which I plugged into a USB port in the back of the TV. The USB receiver works great. You may need to buy a USB extension cable to expose the receiver unit to line of sight to work with your IR remote. I did not need the extension cable. It probably depends on how strong the signal is coming from your IR remote. I would have given the TV 5 stars if I didn't have the RF remote issue. Instead I had to spend almost $50 to use a single remote.

the TV Exceeded my expectations
So far so good. This LG 65' 4k 120hz (native) TV works great... exceeded in fact my expectations. There was a bit of learning curve adjusting to the the smart features of the TV and getting the settings right like color, brightness, balance, backlight etc... but nothing that the average joe (like myself) couldn't handle. I run the tv cable into my new 4k ready Sony 5 channel amp/receiver and then from that, run-out an HDMI cable IN to the TV's ARC connection (HDMI 3). The smart feature of the TV at first would play the sound out through the TV's "oh just ok" speakers and not run it through my receiver and out to my 5 speakers and subwoofer. But it just took some adjustments to address that... Also, getting picture settings right took some time, that's all. One thing I fortunately caught that you might run into if you buy this or any other 4k TV. To upgrade to 4k, even after buying your 4k TV, you're going to have to make sure that your cable box also can handle 4k. If I had not specifically asked my comcast provider for a 4k tv box, I never could have streamed it thru the cable to my TV. The employee at their store said that unless I explicitly asked for it, they'd have given me a standard box not equipped for 4k "because they were in short supply of them". Also, you'll need to make sure your internet connection and router can handle speeds needed to stream 4k so you can access what's provided on Amazon, youtube, neflix etc. And also older ROKU or Amazon firebox's other extremal streaming devices you may have and want to use.... they also may not be able to handle 4k. And this is where the TV's internal internet connection and streaming abilities really came in handy..so I cold ditch the external device. The TV can connect directly to the internet, and use it's internal 4k streaming features, pick up and stream directly Amazon and Netflix and all other streaming services through the TV so again, no need for the external firestick or ROKU or whatever..and it works great. I did have some trouble at first running the sound (from shows/movies streamed through the TV) back out the ARC HDMI connection to my receiver and out to my sound system but eventually figured that out too.... At first the smart features only wanted to play the sound out through the TV's speakers but again I eventually figured out how to override and run the sound through my speaker system. So now I can access 4k shows/movies either available that can be streamed to me thru TV via internet and/or a fewer number that come to me through Comcast Cable stations i subscribe to. And wow.....the 4k experience with top-end sound run through my speakers - it's a wow.... And this TV carries it's part of the load more than admirably.

A Value-Engineered Solution for Getting Every Single Benefit from the Newest Generation of Consoles
This came right on time, and was securely delivered by what looked like two NFL linebackers. Mounting the television was a breeze, and the picture looks fantastic AFTER you disable the local dimming. Admittedly, before I disabled the local dimming setting I was almost horrified by the picture quality. THE PHOTO DOESN'T DO IT JUSTICE, I'M JUST NOT A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER (like, at all) With HDR enabled, I'm able to get every benefit out of my PS5. Demon's Souls looks absolutely brilliant in both performance and resolution modes, but the game that seems to really shine through so far is the enhanced edition of Borderlands 3 that's made for PS5. This game is the first I've ever played that operates at 120fps in performance mode, and this television captures it all with zero issues. If you're a gamer that has just sunk $500+ on that brand new PS5, this television will net you every single benefit from the newest console generation without breaking your bank. Again: only after you turn OFF local dimming. Enabling HDR is a must, and ensure you download the free update for the AMD FreeSync feature. The television actually has two HDMI 2.1 ports for the price, so you can pull every single benefit from your PS5 as well as whatever else you have that requires the HDMI 2.1.

Outstanding TV so far
I was nervous about ordering such an expensive item of this size online as there's a lot of time for damage to occur in transit, but the TV arrived at my house with only cosmetic damage to the box. The TV was packed well and completely undamaged. It even arrived a day early. As for the TV itself, the picture is gorgeous and even on standard mode, the input lag to my PC for gaming is minimal. There is absolutely no issues with blur as my previous TV did not have any sort of anti-blur technology, so it was my reason for purchasing a new one. People give LED Local Dimming a lot of bad review, but I find the picture is better with this setting on Low. It looks awful any higher than that and with it off, blacks aren't as black as they could be. I would recommend trying this setting on Low before deciding to shut it off completely. The remote control is.. weird. It's in a shape that always makes me feel like I'm holding it upside down, but it's not. The menu system in the TV is easy to navigate as well, but I do not like the "magic" part of the remote. When you first hit the menu button, a dot appears on the screen which changes position based on how you move the remote, but it's extremely clumsy and much more difficult than just hitting a direction on the pad. Once you hit a direction, the dot disappears and allows you to navigate the menus using the directional buttons. The wheel in the center (think of a mouse wheel) is what you press to select an option, but accidentally moving the wheel up or down even one notch throws you out of the menu and tries to do something else. It's way too easy to do this. I have my TV on the wall and it looks great. It attaches easily to a wall mount and will fit any 200x200 mounting plate. This TV was very easy to set up. I have no interest in using it with an internet connection nor is there any interest in using the Alexa features, so I can't comment on those. All in all, I recommend this TV. I know people tend to prefer larger pictures, but for smaller rooms, this one is a great choice.
