Samyang Buldak Bibimmyeon (New Extra Sauce Challenge) - Pack of 5 (Korean Spicy Chicken Flavored Ramen Noodles)

While these are cold noodles I don't think they are the "ice type". This one has 12,000 SHU's with both packets used (the 2x fire one is around 9,000 SHU's!) and is intended for buldak challenge. So this is very hot, but yes these are cold noodles. Here are the instructions from what I could translate.1. Boil 600 mL of water. Cook noodles for 4 min.2. Drain water and rinse in cold water. I rinsed it in cold running water under a strainer. You might also consider putting ice cubes to make it even more cold. Put the striped packet in and mix well.3. From what I can tell, this third step involves putting in the solid red packet. I might be wrong but this red one is the "buldak challenge" packet and is very hot so be warned. You can probably omit this packet so it's not as spicy and the noodles will still taste good. I did use it and the noodles were super hot but tasty.

I bought these a few months back and finally got around to eating them. They're pretty solid, has a nice spiciness, pretty sure you'd sober up with these if you were drunk. It has a bit of a slow burn to it, at first its not as spicy, but the more you eat, the spicier they become. Yet I couldn't put them down. For me, the flavor didn't taste like chicken or beef, if anything it tasted a little bit like candy, before the spice kicked in and it was just a slight burning.The noodles are the thin stringy type, unlike their regular noodles, which they're not my favorite but I did enjoy the spice. I put a teaspoon of knorr's chicken flavor to mix with the sauce, to give it flavor. Overall, it's good spice wise, but it needs more flavor other than hot. Still, would buy it again, since my family loves spicy.

Only gave it 4 stars because in the description it did not mention these are ice style noodles not stir fried hope that helps anyone who purchases these noodles.
