Bright and low consumption
Really bright, white light and so much better than tungsten bulbs. Make sure batteries are ok as there is no warning before sudden cut off.

Bright light direct swap for torch bulb
This is a direct swap for the filament bulb in a standard 3v (2 x D battery) industrial torch I am very fond of. Gives a very bright white light which should significnatly prolong battery life.

Feeble
Bought to replace standard bulbs, wished I hadn’t bothered the light from them is feeble. First set of photos is the led and the second is the original. I ordered 4.5v as were the original.

Check your connections.
Can be used to replace the bulb in a flashlight but take care as in all 4 of our torches the bulbs did not work. The physical fit is good but the led connections are centre positive and outside negative. Our torches all use the large 6V lantern batteries. These batteries have a centre negative connection. Wish I had checked by unscrewing the torches before ordering. Required some electronic wizardry to sort this out and get them working.

surprisingly good considering the price
I got this to replace the filament bulb in an old military torch I had, Even with the mostly run-down C cells in the torch, the light from this bulb was markedly brighter and whiter in tone, while not being a horrible blue-white. Coverage is about the same, since this is determined by the reflector rather than the bulb.Very impressed!

Big improvement on standard torch bulbs
These are a big improvement on standard torch bulbs. Probably a minimum 50% brighter than the original one fitted. Standard fit too so it was a strait forward one for one swap as well.

Past bei Fahrrad und Maglite 6V LED
LED 6V gekauftHallo, ich hab eine große Maglite mit Glühbirne bei der die Batterien immer schnell nachlassen. Nun mit der LED Birne hab ich mit den gleichen Batterien noch ein tolles Licht. Auch beim Sohn am Fahrrad mit Nabendynamo brannten die Glühbirnen immer durch, nun sollte es besser sein. Funktionieren jedenfalls noch und machen ein schönes helles licht.

Non utilisable sur torche 2D dû à la bague nylon.
J'ai commandé ce produit pour remplacer une lampe 2.8V, 0.85A pour une torche avec 2 piles D. Malheureusement la bague en nylon côté lampe ne permet pas le retour de polarité -ve vers las pile. Donc il m'est inutilisable.
