Good for the liver and the immune system
1000mg of Vitamin C is one of the 7 supplements I take daily for my Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). Healing a fatty liver is very slow going, I had an issue with Paracetamol and Lansoprazole, cutting out the former completely and changing the latter to Omeprazole helped a lot but my levels were still way too high and refusing to go down anymore. NAFLD isn't treated on the NHS, they only monitor it with regular blood tests and scans when necessary. I got a book from Amazon at the end of 2017 about how to heal a fatty liver and have been taking these 7 supplements since the beginning of 2018 every day ever since then. I don't actually feel any better but my bloodwork has improved massively since taking them and my doctor has told me that it is working so to carry on doing what I'm doing. These are capsules, which I find easier to swallow than tablets, but it doesn't actually say what strength they are on the product page or on the letterbox friendly tub. It says that you can take up to 3 a day so I would hazard a guess that they are 500mg per capsule, but I don't know for sure, the reason they lost a star. These are low acidity, which is good if you suffer from acid reflux, like I do, why I take Omeprazole daily, as Vitamin C can be harsh on the stomach and cause reflux. I'm OK if I take my Vitamin C in the morning, I can't tolerate it with my evening meal as I would be up all night with heartburn. I like to top up with extra Vitamin C during flu season to help boost my immune system a bit more (low immunity is one of the symptoms of NAFLD and I catch colds and flu so easily) but I do need to make sure it is Ester C or low acidity Vitamin C. The fact that I think these are 500mg is perfect for the top-up dose with my evening meal, I can take one of these in addition to my 1000mg in the morning. So far they haven't sparked off an acid attack but I'll pop back and update this review if they ever do.

Good Value Four Month + Supply @ 1 Per Day
Despite getting a fair amount from my diet vitamin C has long been one of my staple vitamins ever since I initially started taking extra through supplements years ago for helping predominantly with optimal skin health and repair when I really needed it with active acne and the scars it left behind, and I've never stopped taking it since even though now it is more to maintain healthy skin as well as for general health and immune support. Vitamin C is a great antioxidant as well as a super booster for your immune system in general and just a very good all round vitamin to take. It's also risk free if you're not sure if you have enough in your diet already or not and want to try adding a tablet like these each day as the body expels whatever vitamin C it doesn't use, so as I said even though I get a fair amount of vitamin C in my diet I still like to supplement with it too to ensure I'm getting more than needed as a minimum as it has so many benefits. One a day of these is enough (especially if you get a reasonable amount of acidic fruits in your diet) so the 120 capsules will last me over four months so this is fairly good value for me so would recommend them.

Easy to swallow with water, Good overall supplement.
These vitamin c tablets come in a nice sealed tub, and size wise are a little big but coated well to swallow easy with a glass of water. The supplements are designed for optimum natural absorption. I found these to be a a good all round supplement, with one issue - there was a empty shell of a supplement inside when I opened the supplement container. Now, It did not stop me taking these but it did concern me a little and I had to check through to make sure the rest were ok, and they were. I would think its a simple error in the packaging process but I have not seen it in other supplements that I have tried. Although it may take time to see results, benefits of this vitamin c supplement contribute to:-normal formation of collagen-skin and hair health-cartilage bones and nail healthThis supplement is also lists "Vitamin C increases iron, calcium and phosphorus absorption as well as contributing to normal energy yielding metabolism" and that this supplements particular form of vitamin c is longer lasting.Overall I have had no negative effects taking this supplement, I take it before dinner with a glass of water. I suspect it will last me at my pace about 3 month or so, I can recommend this supplement but I was disappointed to find a "faulty" capsule, its just a little worrying to me for peace of mind.
