This is a great magnet...and you know what? Magnets ARE AWESOME! You know what's also awesome? This company! I placed the order and BOOM I had a magnet. Not only a magnet, but a super awesome magnet. A magnet that when placed on a metallic object that is flat, you need to be careful or YOU'LL LEAVE YOUR FINGERNAILS ON THE MAGNET! Seriously, I almost made that mistake. But I had my dog lick it to lube it up a bit and PRESTO!So if you're looking for a strong magnet that can fill all of you magnetic needs, look no further. You found it. ALL MAGNETS! Attract mentallic objects here! Mentallic?!? I meant METALLIC! I'm the one who's mental...over these freakin awesome MAGNETS!!!I wish I had a photo of my dog licking the magnet...it would make a great company logo...or funny Christmas card. WORKS GOOD

Received my order for two of these. I took them out of the package and put them on my wood dining table. They slid together with such force the end of one broke off (about an inch) and the other one chipped. Darn! My bad. I will need to order again and be more careful. These are the strongest magnets I have ever owned. You can actually hurt yourself with these guys.

Poles are messed up, like a previous reviewer mentioned. And to boot, when two of these got pulled into each other, one shattered. Powerful magnet, poor quality.

This is one strong magnet! I've looked for really strong magnets in local stores and they don't carry anything like this. Be careful with this magnet, it can hurt you if you get a finger between it and what it's trying to attach to. Mine is stored in bubble wrap centered in a 6 inch mailing tube so it doesn't attract every piece of metal in the cabinet.

It works great for what I need it for couldn't do it without it thanks.wonderful teaching tool .I had to coat them with 1" of liquid rubber to keep from pinching students fingers and be able to pull them apart with with some difficulty better if corner to corner great fun.
