We use #3 genuine metal grommets and 2in reinforcement tape by double stitched for extra holding power. Our knitted shade cloth is made from 100% UV stabilized high density polyethylene. Its unique lock stitch construction will not unravel. More cloth-like to look and feel and has threads running in various directions. Great quality shade cloth
Very happy with the quality of this item. We were able to run zip ties in both the heavy duty grommets, but also in the cloth itself without any tearing. It has dramatically reduced the heat and the sunburning of my plants in my greenhouse.
