American Mask Project Reusable Cloth Face Mask (Pack of 2)

These were the first re-usable masks I'd purchased and overall I'm really pleased with them. They're very soft and fit comfortably around my mouth and lower face. I'm a male and have always thought my head was a little on the "big" side. So for those concerned about the fit being too tight, I can say that these stretch enough to provide more than enough coverage without being uncomfortable. The material is a little thick but that's the way I like it. However some might find it a little too thick. The only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars is because when I'm wearing it and begin to sweat even just a little, the upper corners of the mask immediately absorb the perspiration and I have two dark wet spots in the upper corners of the mask right around my cheek bones. I ordered the ones in Heather Grey and am ordering the ones that come in Black next so the wet spots won't be as obvious. Overall I highly recommend these.

The good:-The material itself is very soft and is not unpleasant to the touch. It's a little on the heavy side for my taste, but I think it's a matter of personal preference rather than a design flaw so I don't hold that against the mask.- I like the dark-gray colorThe bad:- It's just too small. Either the models in the picture have a larger version of the mask, or they are tiny people because it doesn't come anywhere close to covering a normal person's face. Reference the "Face with Medical Mask" Emoji on your phone if you want to see how the this mask will actually fit your face.- You won't be able to speak because the ear loops are so tight the moment you start to talk, you'll get a mouthful of viscose and spandex because the mask is so damn tight.- There is NO STRUCTURE to the mask. It's just a spineless piece of fabric pulled tightly across your face with cheap straps. Wearing it for more than a few minutes is very uncomfortable because your nose bears all the pressure.- The bands are super cheap and are way too short for a normal sized person's face.Walking through target one day, I found a 3-pack of masks for $3.99 that are VASTLY superior. They are made of two pieces of fabric so there is structure down the middle, they include much more fabric and cover my entire face, and they're lighter and easier to breath in. I bought 4 packs, meaning I got 12 better masks for about $5 less than what I paid for these two. I didn't even bother giving these away to family. They went into the trash along with my $20.

I actually love these masks. One ended up a little shorter (from nose to chin) than what I can wear comfortably if I am talking a lot, but the other one fits perfectly. I use one to go to doctor visits or work meetings and the other to shop in. I think they are very comfortable and the elastic doesn’t pull at all on my ears, but they are not adjustable so if you have a wide face they might not fit you correctly.I could imagine that they are very warm if you are outside in the summer, but I wear them in air conditioning and have been fine. I would recommend these overall, but definitely not to wear for an outside barbecue or outside exercise.

I think if someone has a really big head, these wouldn’t work well. It also depends on how much you need to wear it if I would recommend since I’ve only used for an hour at a time. It was fine! You can add a filter...there is an opening for one. You can wash these. I have washed by hand and in washing machine. Both were fine, but by hand may help these last longer. You could even put a paper mask under this....just depends on what you needs are. They are made well.

This is the only mask my teenagers will wear. I bought the gray ones, which are soft, comfortable, and breathable. They fit adults (don't know why others had trouble with the sizing). The pouch is great. I cut up a filter (made for use with my vacuum) and it works. Coffee filter would probably work too. Liked these so much, I am ordering another set in black. High marks. Just make sure you spread the fabric (open it) to cover your nose and chin.

My big issue with these masks was the shipping- at first it was listed as Prime, then it told me 10days which I thought was reasonable. Then the day they were supposed to arrive, they finally shipped and then said it was going to be ANOTHER 10 days and then they were still a day later than expected. If I had known it was gonna take over 20 days to get I would have just ordered a more stylish mask on Etsy.As far as fit goes, there ok. My husband says it’s a little tight and he feels like it’s gonna come off if he talks. But they get the job done and are as described/pictured.

I like these masks. The material is very soft and comfortable. I don’t think it’s too thick at all. I definitely don’t agree with the reviews saying it’s too hot or uncomfortable. The only problem I have is that the elastic straps are big, so I had to tie a little knot in them to make the mask tighter, but I’ve had to do that with other masks so it might just be my head. Overall, I think these are good masks and I would buy again.

I've been using this mask since early May and I really like it. I don't feel as restricted as I normally do with medical masks. It is heavy so I feel safe using it. My only bad takeaway is that the over the ear part doesn't stretch as well as it used too. Then again I'm using it 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Over all good buy.
