Relief valve can't be used as a bleed valve
Note to self, don't attempt to bleed off pressure with this valve. I have this on a 150 psi 60 gallon compressor with some check valves. I wanted to bleed off pressure from between 2 check valves to change a part. I thought I could bleed it down. Nope, once you get air moving the valve goes wide open. 150 psi a foot or 2 away from your ear on this thing will make them ring for a bit... Can't remember if it closed itself or if I had to manually depress the pin again. I was a little dazed and confused from the massive unexpected noise.

Very well made! Like another review said The product picture doesn’t do it justice. If it came in looking like the picture ,I would have sent it back, But I took a chance on it and I'm glad I did, so now I will buy a few more.

Avoid, from the factory what did i get? heavily chewed up casing ,threads totally chewed, heavy corrosion, brass plating flaking off in the letter they sent it in, spring inside very very messy. pull ring completely stretched out barely fits the product anymore. clearly fakes or something, dont buy. totally baffled.

Seems to be good quality
Not much to say, it is what it is supposed to be. The machining is excellent. I’m using it and a few other fittings to replace a faulty valve system on an old porter cable 6 gallon air compressor. This has been a successful endeavor, holding air and all.

Works as advertised. Using it on my pressure pot.
Purchased this to replace the leaky pressure release valve that came on my harbor freight pressure pot. I use it for casting so I need it to not leak. This worked great. It releases at the correct pressure.

Works better than a more expensive one from Milton
I used this to replace a new Milton pop off valve that was leaking. I thought Milton was supposed to be quality, but it turns out this one is instead. No leaking a couple months in!
