Best oil filter I've ever bought and I've bought hundreds of them over the four decades that I've been working on cars and trucks. The 1" formed nut at the bottom gets in the way when you try to use a cup style oil filter wrench, but if the pre-formed 1" nut doesn't work for you, then you can always use the wrap around strap kind it works great. It's made of high quality metal that is not cheap and flimsy. It seals well and I have high confidence that it'll stand the test. The filtration is better than some off the wall product. I'm sure that it'll protect the engine much better than the supposed "10,000 mile" Gold FRAM oil filter that I had on there last time. That one inch nut is going to help me out a lot next time to change out this filter. And we with the case being solid and strong steel I can reef on it hard if need be and I know that it'll come off without falling to pieces on me.

These are high quality filters that perform at a high level. Use these in my 2010 Silverado with over 200K miles. They are easy to install, seal well, and removal with a tool goes smoothly. They do not have that annoying hand grip, which makes using my socket-style tool impossible. The Chevy 5.3 filters install straight up, and it makes wrench-style tools take forever, sometimes. I’ve been using K&N filters for several changes, and they have performed really well. Worth the money.

Filters work great! Easy to use if you’re doing your own oil changes, easy to remove, and don’t leak! They look sturdy and are high quality. I use these all the time for my car and they do a great job!

Easy install and removal. Put a socket or wrench on it and off it comes. The nut was a big selling point for me as it makes it easier for me to remove the filter on my 2010 Silverado. Like my Silverado some may have an engine where the oil pain wraps around a portion of the filter making it hard to remove. With this K&N filter removal is a breeze. I also enjoy the confidence I have in K&N filter products and thought it would be a wise purchase for an oil filter. I've bought them for years for my Chevy and the wife's Jeep. Highly recommended

A nice quality filter I use on my 5.3l and 6.2l engines. Access is limited on these engines so I love the attached 1” nut so you can just socket wrench it off. Makes replacement a breeze. Only knocked it down 1 star for the price as it’s a bit expensive.

This is a higher than average quality product. I like the thick shell and hex nut install/remove design for easy access. Works well on my Ram truck.
