I bought these for my dogs to help with the heat. Most of them don't like the electric clippers. These combs really do thin out their fur easily enough. I even use the extra one on my legs and underarms when I'm being lazy and in a hurry. It doesn't get a close shave like with a razor, but at my age I really don't care. The combs themselves feel cheap, but considering the price tag I think they're worth it. They've held up to 3 large dogs, 1 small dog and a cat just fine. The blade does get hair and dandruff under it, a quick take apart and cleaning sets it right again. Comes with extra blades when they dull.

Go slow, take a little at a time til you get the hang of it. I wanted a rounded shape so I chose a razor comb. I’m growing my hair out from a pixie and the back started looking like a mullet. I’m neither hip enough or, young enough for that! So I trimmed the back. Now I’ll let it keep growing. I gave it 4 stars cause it’s pretty cheaply made, but it doesn’t cost much either. If you need one to use frequently, I’d get a better quality one. If you just need a one time like me, it did the job. My hair was greasy before I cut it and took a shower. The after is clean and blow dried.

They are garbage. The blades rusted after a few uses.

Terrible! The razor was dull and felt like it was tearing through the hair. Got another one out and it was the same way. The con said are of very cheap quality! Don't waste your time or money on this.
