The CD case is cracked upon receipt
The cover is broken so badly, I don't know if it will hold up once the plastic comes off. I hope the CD isn't scratched.

I bought this CD years ago when it first came out and loved it. It was great to be able to download it to my music library and be able to enjoy it again after so many years. The big band sound and style is great. I was never a huge Barry Manilow fan but this album is the exception. I truly have enjoyed the CD, which I still have, but can now enjoy it anywhere thanks to modern technology. If you like swing and big band sound I would highly recommend this album.

A side of Barry you may have never seen
All of the "theme" albums Manilow did––from "Showstoppers" to "2:00am Paradise Café" to "Singin' With The Big Bands" to "Swing Street"––every one is a classic in its own right. All four are must-haves.

Great album to listen to (if you can just listen.)
I used to own the album (vinyl) and loved it. Having not heard the songs in years and years I finally decided to look for a CD. Great, it was on Amazon! It has a great mix of swing era and type songs. Old oldies and new period type songs. I love to sing along with a "microphone" in my hand.

Swinging Manilow
I loved this album when it first came out. It's different from Barry's normal ballads, but enjoyable all the same. I'm always amazed at the different types of music Barry goes to to give us a great treat while still staying the same sweet Barry. I've been a long time fan of Barry's and will continue to be a fan. If you want something swinging get this one.

Jazz as only Manilow can do
If you a Fanilow - you'll want this one for your collection. If you love Barry's jazz pieces, you love this.

It's nice to see another side of Barry Manilow. I like the spin he takes on jazz - combining it with sounds of the 80s, not to mention giving it his own spin as only he can.

Best Manilow album
Best. album. ever. Full of soul and well, swing. Stompin' at the Savory is, in my opinion, the best song ever. There is a nice mix of peppy and slow songs, and they are all moving.

Love this CD it is absolutely wonderful and the DVD is on the boxed set Swing Street is my favouriteon there to, recomenned that as well
