I'd give 5 stars BUT I ordered a 10.5 and ended up receiving a size 10. That being said, they serendipitously fit so I did not return them. They are expensive yes but the quality is apparent. The last pair of leather shoes I bought were maybe half the price, and less than half the quality. Not a fan of spending this much on shoes, yet somehow when I wear them I do not regret it.

Perfect fit, and excellent quality. Truly my favorite, and most comfortable pair of shoes.

Samuel Hubbard (not an old English shoe maker like it sounds) makes shoes they claim are high quality and price them that way. The Dressfast has good leather outers and leather lining and very nice removable insoles.I downloaded the fit guide from their website. It said I needed a 12. All my other shoes are 13s so that's what I ordered. They were still a bit too small, and narrow in the toe box. I think that latter issue might just be the Dressfast. The Founder looks like it might have a wider toe box. Part of the problem might have been my orthotics which undoubtedly reduce the space for my foot. I wondered about this before purchasing them and some reviewers said their orthotics fit in them. It must vary by user.These shoes are much lighter than I anticipated. That's good and maybe bad. I'm used to high quality leather shoes with thick soles being heavy. These shoes are much lighter than expected. Weight may not equal quality but I do wonder.So great design and they claim high quality but I can't vouch for it because I had to return mine.

2nd pair of these and love this shoe

Love how comfortable theses shoes are and they are attractive. I’ve received numerous compliments and they work well with jeans, or slacks, or even a suit which I don’t do but it could work. Quality shoe wears well over time, holds and displays a shine well, and although expensive they are winning me over. Also, I wear a size 14 and generally in larger sizes shoes are not as attractive that’s not the case here attractive in small and large sizes.Update - January 2023: It’s years later now and they still look new and I always wear them when I travel. I get them shined at the airport and they are light and comfortable assuring for most trips nowadays I only need one pair of shoes and I do wear them with suits now. Oh, and I just ordered a pair of their sneakers …yeah they’re pricy but you won’t regret your purchase decision. Even my sister who never complements anything says she loves these shoes.
