IRH Equi-Lite Fashion Helmet

The color was not as bright as I thought it would be. It's more gray than purple. My 9 year old wears it to her lessons and likes it. She says it's very comfortable. We got her a medium because there wasn't any info on sizing. I should have gotten her a small HOWEVER, it does tighten down to fit her head. The price is cheap and does exactly what we need it to do, protect her head. When I purchased this, I did not see a lot of reviews about fit. This in my opinion, would fit kids and adults. If I were to loosen the medium all the way, it would fit me. The large would also fit if tightened.Pros: Tightens a lot so kids can use the same helmet for a long time, seems to be made wellCons: purple is more gray than purple.

This helmet is really nice and fits our 6 yr old son perfect! It adjust which is great as it can grow with him or if your riding in the winter you can add a light weight hat underneath and it will still fit well. We have always used Troxell and had a hard time finding one that would fit his head but, this Equi-Lite fits great. I think I would like to have one for myself as it feels comfortable and looks great on. Low profile, not all bulky yet still providing the protection that is needed of it. We purchased the blue and it is very nice. Good looking helmet.

Daughter loves it! Light, comfortable, breathable and quick to adjust on and off.

This helmet offers pretty much all industry-standard protection your child needs riding his/her horse. It's light, comfortable to wear, and adjustable to feet various head-sizes (great option when you have kids of different ages who love to ride). I bought mine based on product reviews but later found them to be a standard gear in a couple of horse-riding centers we went to. Looks like the best bang for a buck to me.
