This axe is great but required some work to get it sharp. Would def recommend it to friends and buy another if something were to happen to it.

I wanted this axe for five years and I finally bought it. When I first set my eyes on this small axe, I could see the quality. This is an axe I can carry and be proud of. Simply put, if you're serious about bushcraft or carving or camping, or anything that requires wood working this is the axe you want. I own a condor axe, and a vintage axe, and a few other axes, and they are great as well, but they do not preform the way this little axe does. Wetterlings & gransfors bruks axes are the best you can get as far as I am concerned. They are the bmw of axes.

axe head is fine but the handle snapped in half the first day I used it and I believe it was the seller who I'd purchased it 2nd hand from that had abused it as there were subtle signs of an amateur using it with no idea what they were doing with it in the first place.

Perfect gift for anyone who hikes or does a lot of outdoor work. Very well-crafted and perfectly sharpened. High quality wood/steel that you can feel as you as you pick it up.

Small and handy size. Feels safe to use.
