Works with my Roomba
My Roomba vacuum was getting tangled in one of the cords in my living room. This covered and concealed the cord well and the Roomba can get over it without getting tangled. Perfect

Prevents tripping over cords
I bought this cover to eliminate a risk of tripping over electrical cords going across the floor. It does that very well.

nice and heavy, stays in place, flat
Unfurled the loose spiral configuration it was shipped in, put the 10-ft piece flat on a tile floor with four heavy'ish boxes on top, and by next day it was close to all flat. The thick rubber was relatively easy to cut with an x-acto knife. I'm using a 5-ft piece between the wall and my computer table in the center of the room. Floor is tile. I cut a 1" semi-circular notch at each end of the center channel so the cords could go up the wall and cover could fit closer to wall.I've got two 12-ga AC cables running through the center channel, one for APC UPS and other for heavy-duty Belkin powerstrip. It's a snug but good fit. The second cable was more work to get in, but I found that holding the cable at a right angle and pushing directly while feeding it in the "curve" of the bent cable made it slip in smoothly. (Trying to push second cable in with my thumbs when flat against the slot was much more difficult.)After a couple days on the floor it got fully flat. It doesn't need any adhesive; stays in place nicely. I'm using it in a one-man design/photography studio, and it does not get a lot of traffic (mostly just me, occasionally a couple others). The exposed portion is only about 3 feet. Maybe for a longer run where there is more traffic by people who might not be expecting a lump on the ground, it might be useful to tack it down in a few places with adhesive on the underside. But overall, it's heavy, flat and sticks well. 5 stars for functionality. My only complaint would be color choices. In my low-traffic situation, I don't need it to be too obvious. No one is going to trip on it. I've got light tan tile. I got a grey cover, but would have preferred tan cover. (BTW, the grey is nice. Good neutral color and nice medium tone. If there'd been a warmer tone of grey as one of the choices, it would have been perfect for my specific use here.)

Sits flat and matching color
I'm pretty happy with this. It sits flat, I don't need to glue it to my floor and it matches my floor. Me or my wife hasnt tripped over my ethernet cord that runs to my office. Inexpensive also. To make it flat, I just put a semi-heavy box on it overnight. The box was probably only about 15 - 20 pounds. Really happy i found this brown one. Black would have been ugly in this area. Works great and as expected. Thanks!

Great for shop use
This cord cover met all my criteria: heavy-duty, the 1/2" tall enclosure easily fit my 3/8" dia. cord, AND precisely the odd length, 30 in., that I was seeking. It came tightly coiled and quite stiff but a spell at room temperature then warmth from a gas fireplace (hairdryer would also work) served to flatten it. Should hold-up very well on the floor of my workshop. Well worth the price.

Pretty stiff material
Good thing is it comes in many colors. Bad thing is it really doesn't lay flat on the floor even after weighting it with heavy books for days. Channel not big enough for the power cable a four thin cables so I thought it wasn't laying flat due to the cables coming out so moved to another area on tile floor with only one thin power cord and it still did not lay flat and it was only a 3 foot long piece. Ordered some special tape to tape it down. Ended up covering the original 5 cables with Eapele product on Amazon which lays flat easily, has a much wider channel without being higher. Only downside to Eapele is it only comes in industrial black with yellow warning stripes, but much more flexible. and doesn't need adhesive to hold it down.

My Best Option Short of Extensive Re-Wiring But It's Not Red Oak
One section of my house has very old wiring--no grounded 3-prong outlets and not very accessible for re-wiring. My immediate problem was that I bought a new TV and didn't realize it would have a 3-prong plug.An intermittent problem we had was when my son was visiting, there was no 3-prong outlet in his room to plug in his computer. For this purpose we had been using a cheap cord concealer to run a cord to a grounded outlet in the hall, but it could not handle a second cord. This cord cover easily handles two heavy duty cords in the main channel. Each cord is round and about a quarter inch in diameter. They are heavy duty extension cords like you would use for a power tool. There is still room in the conduit for a smaller cord or speaker wires, not to mention two additional small side channels (you'd have to thread wires through the side channels). This cover lays much flatter than our old cheap one. It's not perfectly flat but that may be because one of the cords has to make a quick right angle turn as it exits the conduit and the tension may affect the cord cover. Or maybe I should have worked on it longer out of the box, to undo the curve from being coiled. Maybe it will get better with time, but it's good enough for me, it's just barely not flat on the floor at one end.I am happy to get a brown cover to blend in better than the old gray one, but this brown does not remotely match what they call Red Oak around here. It's just plain brown. My floors are 50's golden reddish brown hardwood and I was hoping for a reddish brown (based on another review, not on the product photo). Oh well.

Does the job while holding several mic cables
Works great protecting cables from foot traffic. Mine came rolled up! It needed to be heated a little but to lay flat. (It's a cold winter here, so that may be unnecessary in warmer climates. Not a problem in any case.)

Crazy packaging
It is sent curled up in a plastic package with a note saying to uncurl place under a hair dryer for 10 minutes. NOT TRUE. Had it by and then on top of electric heat baseboards for almost 1 hour before it would uncurl a bit but the ends I had to tape down to stay in place. The only reason to buy this is to save space because it is shorter than most. After about 6 weeks use it would not stay flat, would not stay in place so I threw it out. SAVE your money. DO NOT buy this.
