I bought this to replace the filter on my Austin Healthmate Junior. was a little concerned because so often after market replacements for things don't really fit or work right, but this was great and a BIG savings for the Austin replacement filter. It was really simple to replace-took about 5 minutes, fit perfectly, and is running beautifully.

These HEPA filters are so great for trapping dust and other particles. I have used them for years mostly because I have multiple pets and the filter sifts dander from the air. I have 3 "juniors" operating 24/7 in various areas of my house and couldn't be without this filtering system.

both the product listing and the photo state this is a 2 pack of filters. It's not.

Well built. Looks very similar to OEM. The white pre-filter is thicker (hopefully not to restrict airflow) than the original black one and the carbon drum seems a little light. My filter was way past due and so it weighed more, but I can't remember how much it weighed when originally installed.It doesn't seem as loud. So I don't know if it's getting better air flow or not pulling in as much. I keep it on low and did the paper test and it barely stays up. I suppose I will have to live with it.

There was a mistake made, but this company rectified the issue. Would recommend doing business with them to family, friends, and everyone I know.

Fit is fine, build quality seems as good as original, yet you can clearly hear the charcoal media shifting significantly when you turn the filter upside down. It appears to be as little as half full, compared to the original where there is no shifting of the charcoal at all.Some minor settling is of course, to be expected, but this is clearly a case of the inner charcoal chamber not being remotely full. Which of course will lower the efficiency or efficacy of filtering. In this case, it's significant enough that i'm concerned the air will bypass the charcoal completely, following a very large path of least resistance.

I ordered a 3 pack as stated in description and only received 1. Reordered a replacement and only received 1 more. I need 1 more to complete the transaction.
