SimplyShe Dog Body Harness with Reflective Trim, X-Small, Cobalt Blue

I have a chihuahua who is about 5 pounds 8 ounces to 6 pounds. Girth measurement is 14 inches. I ordered an extra small. The girth part is too big. We can manage to make it fit him but the Velcro part is very overlapped. Cannot make it tight enough really. If it is too loose, he can escape.I like the design and when the girth part is tight, it feels safe. If the Velcro is were a bit longer, I would feel better about it.On the other hand, I've tried a few different brands (including for cats) and this fit the best. Maybe the size on the label stitched into the harness is wrong and it is actually a small? I don't know. I'm tempted to try an extra extra small.

This harness fits my tiny Yorkie (7 lbs) very well. I am pleased with it overall with two exceptions. The velcro between the "shoulders" is not the strongest and comes undone quick often but doesn't affect the function of the harness itself so that is fine. The other complaint is that the buckle is made out of plastic, and cheap plastic at that. There has been more than one occasion where the dog has broken free off the leash because the buckle has come unsnapped but didn't break. Overall, satisfied as the harness is soft mesh which is what we were looking for primarily.

I looked nice, but after measuring my dog and ordering the appropriate size, it still was too small. It looked nice and not like some cheap thing you find at the dollar store. Ended up giving it to a friend who needed one for their small dog and it fit.

I got this in an XS for my 5 pound chihuahua and it a was a bit too large. It was mainly too big around the chest area and looked more like a life jacket than a harness, but it fits enough to do the job. Other than that, I love the color and the quality!

Cool harness for my 5lb yorkie. It fits perfectly. I love the way it snaps at the top of the harness, which makes it easy to get my dog in and out of it quickly. One thing I did not notice until I was walking my dog at night is that the rim of the harness has a reflector material on it so at night it is easy to see my dog. The material is very sturdy. So far this is the best harness I have owned.

Bought it for my cats - did not fit really well, even though I bought according to the correct measurements. It's a bit too big. But my main problem with the item I received is that even though I purchased a "new" one, the harness I received did not seem to be new. It didn't even have any proper tags, just a bar code label that was sloppily taped to it with scotch tape and looked like it originally came off something else. Makes you wonder.

I have 2 Maltese puppies...16 weeks old and about 5 lbs each...the XS is still a bit big on them. The quality seems excellent. Unfortunately, they both didn't seem to initially like it and tried removing it. Plus, they were able to slip one front arm out of the arm opening. After 10 mins, my pups were oblivious to having them worn. I can't wait to take them out for a walk and/or bike ride in the front basket....securely latched of course.

We have a Teacup size Yorkshire Terrier and is pretty small. Most xtrasmall fit him but this was a little big for him. It was easy to place on him though.
