Easy to Read -- But the Most Deeply Helpful with Emotions
This book helps me more than any other resource with a steadying hand at the challenge-points as I choose to go naturally gray. Paget suggests good ways to think about problems like other people’s put-downs, and about facing events like weddings and class reunions with half-gray locks, and about preparing for the crises of second-guessing your decision, and many more. She models humor and self-acceptance and spunk, and invites the reader to grow with her as she moves from terror to confident self-definition. More even than an “Adventure,” she engages going gray as an inner “Odyssey” of character maturing. After completing my own gray-transition, I look forward to revisiting her great “coaching sessions” in this book as I face other health and loss challenges of aging and of life. And I love being able to tap into her website for more resources! Read this short, fun, super-valuable book!

Uplifting and Entertaining
This was not great literature, but it was a great book! I found it uplifting and entertaining. I, too, am going back to gray hair. I was heading down the road of salt & pepper and suddenly started coloring my hair two years ago. Ugh. Regret, regret. I decided that I didn't want to become "that woman" --- the one who runs to the salon in an expensive panic every 6 weeks. And I was becoming that. My confidence has soared since deciding to go back to salt & pepper and Susan Paget helped confirm my beliefs that gray is absolutely okay!

great book!
This an authentic perspective on the journey of going gray! After experiencing the same issues, feelings and adventures on my own going gray journey, it was refreshing to read Susan’s perspective! Women supporting other women is much needed on this adventure and Susan shares that beautifully. Great book for anyone considering the journey, going through the journey or have completed their journey!

Loved, loved, loved this!!
Two thumbs way the heck up. This book arrived yesterday and I finished it today. I have found a kindred spirit, soul sister in Susan Paget and reading about her journey to rock her authentic hair resonated with me. This is book is highly entertaining and laugh out loud funny but it's not just about hair. It's a book that encourages us to examine why we do what we do and if those choices still resonate. It's about loving yourself enough to say, "This is who I am" regardless of our conditioning that tells us to fear change. Well done. I'm off to order two more copies to give as gifts. I'm excited to uncover what lies beneath two decades of hair dye. At age 63, it's about time.

This is such an inspiring book, not just for the Gray Hair Adventure, but also as a coming of age book. There is so much great information in this book that answer many of the questions we have regarding aging healthfully and gracefully. I would recommend this book to any woman that would like a new way of viewing the process of growing older and learning to be kind and loving and listening to our bodies and inner selves.

Good Book About Going Gray
I enjoyed this true-life story about going gray. The author is very honest about the highs and lows of her gray hair journey. Paget also gives good advice on how to deal with unwanted and rude comments.

I am just starting my grey hair adventure and reading this book inspired me to keep going and gave many helpful tips. I don't read books normally, but this was like listening to an old friend talk and I finished it in two days. I'm inspired and armed with real ways to deal with the "wobbles" if they come. I think I even learnt to be a better person. Maybe the grey hair isn't just skin deep.

Just 2 stars
Not especially encouraging or helpful. And I don’t understand the picture on the cover. Going gray doesn’t have to look horrendous. 2 stars because I am glad someone shared their experience going gray. Otherwise it would be 1, for content.

Needed some help while growing out my grey hair and turned to this book. Also watched susan on you tube following her progress. It definitely aided me when I had some difficult days. She's full of positivity making you feel like you can achieve anything.

A motivating and positive read!
This is a great purchase, it's a quick read packed with loads of positive and thought-provoking messages and ideas. I'm working my way through Susan's grey hair vlogs now and she comes across as a really lovely, funny and caring person. That personality shows through in this book as well. I decided to grow out my grey just before having a serious health issue completely out of the blue, and the book really helped with both supporting me in my own grey hair adventure and in coping with the other things I was facing.

Great book! Definitely recommend
Great book! Definitely recommend. I stopped dying my hair a few weeks ago and already noticed that the transition process to natural hair is about so much more than just about hair. Susan is like an old friend explaining honestly about this process. Great read for anyone who wants to stop dying their hair.

Very worthwhile read
Very worthwhile read. I am three-months into my journey to greydom. I also found Anne Kreamer's book Going Grey excellent too.
