Magical
I bought this as a gift and the recipient was very happy. In fact he said it changed his life. Before wearing his Michael Paul men’s hooded robe he was just a man, a mortal man. As soon as he donned the garment he felt a strange comforting feeling. Soon after his 3rd toe on his left foot started to tingle and that’s when he knew something was different. He suddenly grew wings! Freaking wings! Feathery ones of a ruby hue. He started flying around the room and became quite proficient at it within hours. Whilst hovering above the combo boiler one evening he decided to use his new found skill to fight crime. He was worried he would be spotted and have painful and embarrassing procedures performed upon him, by science-y types, to discover just how he gained his feathered appendages but fear not! The hooded element of the robe provided ample disguise. He now fights petty crime daily whilst wearing his Michael Paul hooded robe, only yesterday he solved 3 bank robberies and caught 4 people who used the F word on the 65 bus. All in all I’d recommend this robe for people who have bodies and those who want to fight crime.

Incredibly soft, smooth, and snug.
Absolutely thrilled with this dressing gown. Incredibly soft and smooth, and snuggly warm. I know it's a mens one, but I bought it for myself, as I loved the hooded idea, and the price was extremely reasonable. It was slightly larger than I thought, but all suppliers vary, so you might want to go down a size. Up to you. All in all, very happy. My 17 yr old daughter is now jealous that mine's softer than her dressing gown. Lol :)

Not worth a penny more than £13.99! Really poor quality!
Bought this for hubby for his birthday. Looked in his old dressing gown that fits perfectly & ordered the same size. When he tried it on it literally swamped him! Is huge! Was also shorter than it had looked on the picture (Hubby is only 5' 7" so they must've used a model that's about 5' 5" judging by the disparity of length, I would've thought generally male models to be nearer 6' in height??!! Not sellers fault though, can't blame them for my assumptions not based on fact!) As it was soooooo soft though & I couldn't be bothered to send it back I decided to keep it for myself. a few weeks on with intermittent wear (I still use my own dressing gown too, sorta depends on what I'm doing) it looks, well, a bit rubbish! It is, at an absolute stretch, just about worth the £13.99 I paid for it (when you factor in the £3.99 P&P wchich takes it to £17.98 it becomes overpriced!) As for the alleged RRP of £45, well, there's a reason it's been reduced so much in price as never in your wildest imaginings could this be accused of being "worth" £45!! It already has a large hole under one arm, the inner ribbon tie is in shreds & the outer belt tie where it gets knotted has stretched & thinned unacceptably. I'm comparing the quality to my £35 M&S dressing gown & to imply this is worth a penny more than £13.99 is laughable!

You Get What You Pay For
I saw a grey dressing gown last week for twice this price at a well known clothing retailer which I liked but whilst hesitating whether to buy it I checked Amazon for price comparison and this one looked similar for half price. It is actually not as thick but acceptable and fits big for a large size but again acceptable. It is also of a curious grey colour not uniform but somewhat blotchy and does not hold its shape well when held but for the price I paid I am satisfied and well wear it and get my monies worth. Overall it resembles a dressing gown which might be seen in the discount stores clothing departments and people make their own mind whether it is a bargain or not. It is just about worth the asking price in my opinion.

Go for the next size down, very soft and warm.
Lovely and soft material and seems well made, however I ordered medium and it was way too big for me. Others have also said that this brand is a bit hit and miss with their sizing, so I’d recommend getting a size down. It’s very soft and very warm, you can wrap it around you and tie it up and it keeps you nice and snug. Pockets are spacious and very useful for things like your phone.

Not good quality. Falling apart after a month
I brought this for my partner about a month ago. He has only worn it 4 times but its falling apart. We were initially very happy with the quality of the products but clearly the stitching is poor quality because the arms and pockets are unravelling.

Feels great but the stitching... oh dear!
Positives first: this dressing gown feels lovely and fits as expected. I ordered the hooded version in a size 'medium' as a Christmas (2020) present for my 12 year old son (he often wears men's small but likes big dressing gowns) and he loves it. It's really soft and comfortable. However, the stitching is rubbish; my wife has already had to re-stitch holes in the armpits after only a few weeks of wear and I've just noticed today (14th March 2021) that one of the pockets is becoming unstitched - see photo. Fortunately I only paid £12.99 so I'm not too upset about the quality - I certainly got what I paid for. It's a real shame about the stitching as I would probably have given 5 stars.

Good
My husband is happy with his new dressing gown it is abit thin compared to other dressing gowns he has but it is not a problem with it being warm weather but not sure if it will be warm enough in the winter but for the price it is good
