SalsaCrazy Serrano Salsa - Burn the Dance Floor Hot Sauce

This is a very fresh and tomato-y salsa with corn kernals and just the right (medium) amount of heat for my tastes. We enjoy this chunky salsa because of it's great taste and it goes great with chips (obviously!) and eggs, and veggies, and pretty much anything you can salsa-up! Cooked tomatoes have health benefits too, so we use it liberally and would highly recommend it to all the salsa lovers out there!

Not as hot as the habanero version - but still excellent salsa. A fine salsa with medium hot character. Lots of tomatoes and spices - tastes fresh. Goes good on just about everything you want some medium heat on. Great on scrambled eggs or nacho's.

Not spicy enough.

I admit that I'm not always the one who is going to jump on the bandwagon for the super spicy food. I'm not a girl that thinks that the spicier it is the better it makes it. That said, I do have some in my home that do. When I saw this offered I thought this might be a nice thing for them to try. It says it's hot but not the absolute hottest so that means (to me) it would probably still be enjoyably edible. I had no idea...This product is sold on Amazon & the following blurb is what is said of it on the page :"Yes, it's true! This is the "friendlier" version of our Habanero Salsa. I received this in the mail & then set it on my counter as I do with many things that I may be reviewing or have purchased. Nothing truly out of the ordinary with that. When I returned home my jar was gone. No where to be found. I looked everywhere for it before I questioned someone. It turns out that it had already been consumed in whole. YES! THE ENTIRE JAR!!!! So, I was forced to sit & quiz about this jar of salsa. It turns out that my household felt that this stuff was so good that they couldn't stop eating it. It was indeed spicy & had a good amount of heat to it but it was the right amount. What was this salsa used on? It seems it makes a wonderful topping for burritos & taquitos as well as being killer with chips. I am told that they added a little cheese on top of it with the burritos. Needless to say I was mildly peeved because I don't even have my own real photo for my review & am forced to use the stock photo but I suppose this can be considered a testament to how good the salsa is. I do wish I had gotten to sample it for myself though darn it! As a professional blogger I did receive this product as a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest & unbiased opinion. It's really flavorful, tex mex style. With corn, I don't particularly care for corn in my salsa, but this was good. It's not that hot though, Id put it at a medium on the heat scale. It's really good though, It's not really chunky either, which is great for me. Overall the salsa is really tasty, and great!sample provided.

Tasty, with just the right spice and consistency! If you're looking for the perfect, not-too-spicy salsa, this is it! Have a salsacrazy party! Invite all your friends, learn to salsa with the offer on the jar, and have fun! I received this salsa to review.

I was surprised at just how flavorful this salsa is! I normally tend to eat only mild store bought salsas, and I honestly was kinda timid at first to try this. I am not a fan of super spicy foods. I am glad that I went out of my comfort zone with this and gave it a shot!This salsa has more heat than the mild store bought versions that I am used to. It has a nice kick of heat to it, without being too much. But the flavor, oh my goodness, the flavor is beyond amazing! How I ever got by with just eating the boring, and now bland, store bought salsa. I eat this with tortilla chips, and I also added it on top of tacos, both are equally fantastic!I also let another family member who loves salsa try this, and they were going back for more! They really enjoyed it!This is something that I am going to be keeping on hand in the pantry for when I want a little bit of heat, and to spice things up. Never again will I be spending my money on bland store bought salsa again! Plus, I don't care for most of the major brands as the ingredients taste artifiical and too sweet.Luckly, I was sent a 16 fl. oz. jar of Serrano Salsa by SalsaCrazy. Serrano is a chili pepper that originates from the Mexican states of Puebla and Hidalgo. When eaten raw, these peppers are slightly hotter than the jalapeño pepper. It is mostly used in salsa and chili recipes.This jar of Serrano Salsa has 10 calories per serving (2 tsp) with 112mg of sodium and 1g of sugar.While the Serrano Salsa is milder than the SalsaCrazy's Habanero Salsa, it still has a little kick to it. I like the fact that the ingredients are more organic than other brands and that there are no preservatives! It almost tastes like the homemade salsa from my childhood.
