Best Dash Cam - Recommended to Everyone
This is the best dash cam that I have tried out of 3 and I recommend it to everyone. I love that there is no subscription fee and that the footage is so easy to download. The installation process can take some time for it to connect to a device - I find the older the phone, the longer it takes to connect. But, my family and I feel much safer with these in our vehicles.

Incredible value for the money. Easy to install
Easy to install. App works well. Thankfully have not needed it for a crash but feel safer having it. Amazed that you can get this much technology for this price. Same price as some sd cards but this even includes an SD card!

Not reliable. Don't know if it is the app or the camera
Although the quality of the video is good, this camera as failed to record every trip, upload to the cloud service, only saved 1-2 minutes of much longer trip or just had corrupted videos. I tried having it connected to the plug/socket that connects straight to the battery, but then it would 'record' 17 hr videos and the phone app would work in the background draining my battery in the process. I then plugged it to the socket that only works when the car is turned on, and it worked a bit better, but would have most of the aforementioned problems with it missing recording and corrupt videos that are supposed to be 1 hr long but only 1-2 minutes of footage. I wish I could return this unit.

Good Dashcam
Camera has a good build and picture quality. It records directly on your phone which makes it convenient. The value for money is excellent because it was about $40-50 on sale. The only issue I have is the delayed recording from startup. There’s sometimes a 30 seconds to the minute delay in recording. I’m unsure of if a software update would fix the issue.

Second Scosche in-car camera.
This is my second Scosche camera, since I already have the app for the other and 4 other Nexar Beam cameras, setup was a breeze. The app recognized the camera when I asked to add a new device. The app also swaps between the cameras when I get into the other cars. I like the system because it records to the cloud and to your phone, you do not need to pull the sd card to review the video. It also has a parking mode, hard brake notices. Good camera for the price, clear video both night and day. Wiring was easy, routed it to a usb plug so I didn’t have to see the cord in a 12v accessory plug.

In my opinion, I believe this product can be better but until then I’ll rate it a 4/10.
This product has potential but it falls short. Pros: What I liked about this camera is it’s size- small and can fit perfectly next to my sonar in the Infiniti Q50. Took about 30 minutes to install as I had to tuck in wires behind panels (roof liner and passenger front Pilar). The camera is plug and play which made the process a bit easier. The item cost is relatively compared to their other dashcam or even other products on the market. Cost analysis: $$ out of $$$$$. Customer service was good as both the manufacturer and Amazon were responsive (in a timely manner). Both seems to want to provide a solution. Cons: Second purchase/ replacement. Original camera failed after a week. The camera would not record let alone connect to any devices. The device was not showing on WiFi. The camera was only powering on and frozen it was. Amazon replaced the item- current replacement item has image quality issues where it just cuts out/black out. Image gets distorted and will be a disappointment to have an event/ accident not capture on camera when you need it the most. The camera parking censor or G sensor does not work properly. Meaning, when the car is parked and gets hit- the camera does not power on. The camera is plugged in at all times and has power but does not turn on. Over all, I’ll rate this product 4/10. Due to faulty image quality and parking censor not functioning properly. I was sold on the parking sensor when I started researching dashcams. If you just need a camera for the road and don’t mind the quality of the image getting distorted at times then this is an okay product. This is not a product I’ll recommend to car/ automotive communities or car enthusiasts. Thanks,

It’s very comfortable to know it’s recording possible accidents.
One of the best on the market! Replaced the old one and it seems to work well. My only concern that it is not recording in the cabin. Any suggestions?

Great Dash Cam
I shopped literally for 2 years before I bought to test one. This Dash Cam has everything I was looking for and more. High quality video and audio day or night front and interior. Recording saved to Dash Cam and by the Cam's WIFI to my phone's app while driving. When connected to WIFI at home the app recordings are uploaded to free cloud storage. Records a nice wide angle. Customer service is responsible, respectful and professional. They answered ALL of my questions in a timely manner and checked back several times afterwards to see if everything was OK. Suction cup mounts stays mounted to my windshield under my car's rear view mirror. I wet the suction cup slightly first and it has never fallen off. I tested this over and over and decided to keep this model and will buy one for my wife's car. I am recommending this to family and friends.

Amazing product for the price. All the features are useful and work well. Heads up tho if you have wireless carplay you won’t be able to use the dashcam and carplay at the same time. Other than that a great product 10/10

Nexar Dashcam Review: Great Product, But Customer Service is a Major Letdown I recently purchased a Nexar Dashcam with high expectations, not just because of the rave reviews of its performance, but also due to the promises made by their customer service. Unfortunately, the experience has been a letdown, and I feel compelled to share my story to help potential buyers manage their expectations. First off, the dashcam itself is quite good. But here’s where the story takes a turn. Customer Service: A Roller Coaster Ride of Disappointments. Before making my purchase, I came across numerous reviews and ads emphasizing Nexar's customer service. "We are here for you, 24/7!" "We guarantee you'll be helped, no matter what!"—these promises sounded reassuring and gave me confidence in my purchase. I thought, "Great, this company truly cares about its customers!" How wrong I was. After installing the dashcam, I ran into a minor issue with the app not syncing properly with the camera. Since the device is supposed to automatically upload footage to the cloud, I thought it would be a quick fix. I reached out to Nexar customer service, expecting a smooth experience given their bold claims. To my surprise, what followed was a huge letdown. Appointment Scheduling: Big Promises, No Follow-Through Nexar’s customer support team responded promptly via email and assured me that they would help me resolve the issue. They promised to set up an appointment to walk me through troubleshooting, which sounded reasonable. However, things quickly started to unravel. I was scheduled for a call at a specific time. Fine, I thought. I set aside time for it, changed my day schedule. Yet when the scheduled time came, I sat around waiting for the call that never came. No heads-up, no apology, nothing. I thought maybe there had been a mistake or some sort of delay, but nothing. Radio silence. So, the problem is their sense of responsibility and accountability. I reached out. They replied “IF it is ok with you, we can reschedule”. When trust is shattered, one doesn’t want to waste another day. Reasonable Product, Awful Service In conclusion, if you’re looking for a reliable dashcam with decent features, you may find Nexar to be a good option. But if you’re hoping for stellar customer service to back it up when things go wrong, you might want to look elsewhere

Just a heads up, the camera is pretty clear, but the device stopped working after two months. Now I'm stuck with this red light that won't quit, even after trying to reset it. Shot a message to customer service, fingers crossed they can sort it out.

The app can not be used without a phone number. Without the app you can access configuration or view the video.
