This is my go to gift for new moms. They have all loved the book. Time with small children goes so fast. Make time together meaningful. This lovely book gives practical ideas for fun and discovery that will bring joy to both mom and child. You have to get this book!!

I really wish there were photos of the projects/crafts in this book. It's nice to be able to glance through for ideas.

I have only just started reading and already have used a few of the ideas from the book for activities with my 3 year old! I am so happy with my purchase. Took a long time to ship, but other than that, 5 stars!!! Highly recommended.

This book is so adorable! I have three children; 10, 7, 1 and the activities suit all my children (and me!) on some level! There are no photographs of activities which is actually refreshing! It's open to interpretation on every page and every activity. Also includes pages for notes in each section.. it's simple, charming and the activities dont require loads of inaccessible materials! Laura is my new favourite Brand ;-) love it!

I brought this after watching a squishy soap video of Laura & Russel as I thought what an amazing, affordable, eco friendly way to get your children to wash their hands. This being very important with the current pandemic!The book offers fun, creative ways to play with your child in an educational yet imaginative way whilst recycling bits and bobs from round the house or using sticks, flowers from the garden.My daughter LOVED making nature crowns, we went on an adventure and picked our favourite flowers and leafs from the garden and created a crown which she wore with her princess dress all day 😃Highly recommend this book as it really helps to be get more involved in the activity’s with your children, it’s so easy to get distracted and ‘keep the kids occupied’ in these times but we choose an activity per day to do together while on lockdown and it is making the experience, well actually quite wonderful 😊

This book certainly brings me as a not-very-crafty mum great joy! The activities are simple but beautiful and themed. My 7 year old has browsed through the whole book twice and decided the order in which we are going to try all the activities! Some of them he can do by himself, creating cup of tea time for me... Best of all, the tone of voice in the instructions is full of joy. Love the ‘parental enjoyment’ section for each activity! This book is honest and lovely. Can’t recommend highly enough.(Moon Sand activity current favourite - the super easy instructions really DO create the perfect sand consistency, and can the sand can be made into mini sandcastles. 😊 )

This is such a gorgeous book, filled with the simplist of ideas for parents to get their hands dirty with their kids.Our daughter is 8 and there are still plenty of ideas that suit her. She absolutely loved the treasure hunt, making playdough and the worry dolls had her sat for a good hour!Craft can so easily go out the window as children get older and it's easy to think they're past all that messy stuff. Laura reminds us so beautifully that they are most definitely not and of the continued importance of creativity and how getting stuck in not only serves their development, but our relationships too.Lovely, thank you xx
