Shame to see this model being discontinued. Dying breed.
New-old stock. Comparible to XT quality. Using since 2015, needed replacement.(newer model, alfine s7000, is a step down in quality compared to Deore. = Lesser quality hose also tools are needed for reach adjustments. Though I will buy in future upgrading hose.)3-finger levers are comfortable and a necessity for commuting. Also a must during winter while wearing gloves.TOOL-LESS reach adjustment levers are a must.Quick-responsive, powerful stopping depending on set-up (I'm using maximum reach, with 180mm disc rotors front/rear)

Do not buy: Pistons do not retract out of the box
I've gotten two of these, the first I sent back because of sticky pistons. The second had the same issues. After i install them on my rotor, pull the lever once, they remain closed around my rotor, keeping the wheel from rotating. I greased the pistons and bled the brakes again only for the pistons to get stuck again after a day of using. Do not buy.
