8/15/16 - So, I'm very happy to report that the manufacturer contacted me directly and addresses the issues I reported. They are working on fixing the problems and will come up with a much better product. This is a sign of a company that listen to the consumer and wants to be better - I will definitely support this action!.Sorry, but these gloves won't work.I'm a regata sailor and the velcro straps are weak and open easily as you brush the gloves against your body or other stuff around you . No grip at all for the inside palm. In the second day on water, the grips showed rope burns and just lost effectiveness.

Stitching that connects the rubber grip pads on the palms to the rest of the glove starts to undo itself after just a few weekends of sailing.Also doesn't protect hands as well as it should. Hands hurt a lot during regattas (Even in 8 knot winds).

Looks great and robust, but only before you start using it. After two races I found damages on them. After 5 races I found already several holes. And now after couple of months of usage (1-2 times a week) it looks not good at all. Not recommended for active usage

Great looking... About it.. After one day of recreational sailing ( 3 hours 15kts) the seams started to fall apart. I have a pair of Gold Gym weight lifting gloves for $6ish ( walmart) that are still going strong for 2 seasons.

These only lasted 3 races before the leather on the hands had holes. Also, the "SALE" that supposedly lasts one day has been going on for weeks now, just FYI.

I really like them - fit well, and very sticky -- I would buy them again - I ended up getting the extra small, normally I would get a larger size because I expected they would stretch. XS is perfect for me.

They fit great. The small size runs true. Arrived quickly too.

Bought these as a retirement gift for a gentleman retiring from my office. He is an avid sailor and was very much impressed with the quality of these gloves.
