lol. Didn’t pay attention when I purchased ( not realizing it was 12v ) got a battery that fits works great no complaints !!!!

I love this thing for getting in spaces that I can't get with my larger Sawzall. Has plenty of power and seems to be holding up well I use it a few time a week. It's also light enough to put a belt clip on and hang on my tool belt which I definitely can't do with a full size 20 volt sawzall!

Will not work with 20V battery!
Amazon stated on their website that this item was frequently returned. Never realized my 20v lithium ion batteries will not fit the tool. So I returned the $87, 12v tool and purchased the 20v tool for $144. I don't understand why Dewalt doesn't phase out the 12V in favor of the 20v. Looked like a great deal at $87, but only if you have 12v battery and charger

Great saw!
This is the best tool of my arsenal of Dewalt equipment! This thing works awesome!! I find it has many uses and does the trick every time. My Kid has borrowed it and now owns one as well!! Balde change is quick and easy. Easily a 5-star tool!

batteries dont hold a charge
batteries dont hold a charge, best to buy another brand. i have only used this tool 3 times, and batteries wont recharge.

Great tool
I love this thing. I use it all of the time. This is my second one. I use it for cutting drywall mostly. My first one lasted for 4 years probably stopped from all the drywall dust. Worth it, cuts great even on wood. Light weight and easier to carry around then the full size. Battery lasts quite a while even with 12v
