Worthy of 6 stars
These work perfectly. My wife didn't like the bright lights in the bathroom. Sometimes she wants it bright but most of the time she doesn't. I bought these bulbs specifically because they say they are dimmer compatible. I went to Home Depot and bought a Lutron slide dimmer (not sure if that makes a difference) and when everything was finished, I tested it throughout the entire range of the slider. These bulbs are very bright and very white (3 bulbs in the fixture) at full intensity then gradually get much warmer and dimmer as you reduce the intensity. I went very slowly and encountered absolutely no flickering and no noise whatsoever - we are both very happy.

Work with a dimmer
Bulbs work as represented. Used them in a chandelier with a dimmer and there is no problems. No flickering or issues dimming the bulbs.

These bulbs work great!
Every light in my house has a dimmer switch. I finally found a bulb that’s perfect for dimming. There’s no flickering. Great quality and value for the price.

Really great! But not the best for old dimmers
Ok these were actually really really great. But I have an old dimmer remote, and every time I flip the wall switch the bulbs go to half brightness. When I use the remote they turn on to whatever I left them at last. So if using the wall switch wasn’t important to me I’d keep them. I love the brightness and really love the dimming feature as it switches to the more yellow warm color. Really really nice. Also no strobing or buzzing like other led bulbs I’ve experienced. I’m gona go w non led’s because my fixture just can’t handle it. If you have a newer dimmer these are really great. And I say go for it.

Great bulbs
I own a few houses and they're all old, with uneven current, which eats bulbs. These bulbs always last for years, while the other brands seem to crap out after a day or two.

Same model number, different bulb! This is the plastic one, not the Classic Glass Design.
The media could not be loaded. This 4-pack contains the bad version of this bulb. Philips has two types of "Warm Dim" dimmable 60w bulbs, but give them the same model number! I ordered an 8-pack to put into dimmable hanging lamps. They were wonderful. Later I purchased this 4-pack and discovered this difference in bulbs! The new bulb had a plastic sleeve casting a shadow, poorer color rendering and poorer dimming performance. I'm sending these back. The good bulbs had "Classic Glass Design" on the box. That type shares all of the good features: works great in a dimmer not made for LEDs, great color, emits light in all directions. The only miss is that it has 3-year warranty instead of 5. (The good type, Classic Glass Design, has 2019 on the box. The plastic one with a shadow has 2020.) Price per bulb is roughly the same.In the video, the one bulb on the right is the bad type, while the remaining four are the good Classic Glass type. Notice its difference in color compared to the rest -- even though all the bulbs are Philips 60We / 8.5W, 2700k, 90CRI -- and how it fails during dimming.I'm sending this four-pack of lesser bulbs back, and have already ordered the eight-pack of the good, no-shadow, better performance type.If you want the "better" bulb, look for a dot with "Classic Glass Design" on the packaging. Everything else will make you think the bulbs are the same as any other of the same name and model number.
