Are you kidding me?!
The fabric I received was two pieces that had been stitched together right through the middle of the fabric with a very wide industrial zigzag stitch and plastic threads that is an inch wide. I cannot use this fabric for it’s intended purpose because of this. The stitches were clearly visible through the clear plastic bag it was packaged in. Where is the quality control? Very disappointing.I have ordered a few other colours from this company in the past and I just want to add that it is usually pretty decent quality fabric. This faulty piece is being replaced for no charge via Prime. Because the replacement process was so easy, I will add one more star to my review.AND... please be aware that most of the fabrics are folded INSIDE OUT, inside the packaging. Many reviewers are complaining about colours being much lighter than expected, but I can tell from the photos that it is definitely the WRONG side (back) of the fabric. (Please see my photos for a front/back colour comparison in “Jade”.) The right side of the fabric is much darker and so far all of the fabrics I’ve received have been true to colour. You need to actually open your package and unfold the fabric to see the other side!

Good fabric - not monitor color
When buying online the color is never what you think it is. This color was a little lighter and slightly more yellow in tone than expected. A true coffee color is more deep, almost black. And closer to a grey in tone. I was fortunate that this particular brown worked with the batik quilt I was going to use it with. I am finding, however, that the Santee fabrics, while good quality, are off in color. I am never quite sure what I will get. When I bought the charcoal, I ended up with a bluer medium grey, much more blue than grey.So while you are getting good quilting fabric, you must be pretty flexible on your color expectations. These blenders are a surprise. In getting to sew this particular fabric, I noticed that the quality was higher than most fabric I get - even from JoAnnes. This is Northcott quality. Very thick and heavy. I love this type of cotton, it wears well and washes wonderfully. I have some on another quilt and was terrific as a backing. If you are using this for the quilt top, just allow it to be a couple shades lighter. As a back, it is awesome and it shines because the quality of the fabric holds the quilt up to years of use.

Not happy
The quality of the fabric seems good. I’ve ordered this before without problem, but this time will very likely be my last. The colors sent are NOTHING like the color shown. They were “folded” very sloppily, more like in a wad. I’m really not sure, short of the black and the blue fabric I ordered that I even got the right order. Not happy.

Poorly cut and packaged, with frayed ends
The fabric, itself, while acceptable for the apron I intend to sew, I was appalled at the presentation. I couldn’t have wrinkled this fabric any further had I wet it and crunched it into a ball. In addition, the edges were terribly frayed.Fabrics I order are always washed, dried and ironed before cutting so, in the end, the project will go forward. But, it was, overall, a very careless handling of the product and not a good reflection on Santee Print Works.

Good fabric - lighter in color than I expected
This color appears to be more camel on the screen, but when it arrived it was closer to a butter color. It worked great for me, I used it for backing a quilt and it blended fine. Just know when you buy from this supplier, chances are your fabric will be lighter than you think it will be and it may be slightly off in color. So far my experience (I have bought 3 fabrics from this supplier) if it is a brown cast it will be yellower. The charcoal was medium and blue.If possible, be flexible in your color expectation. The fabric itself is fabric store quality and does very well in the wash, becoming softer and flexible. It is durable and thicker than some I have bought - which is why I continue to buy from Santee. My colors on my backing work with a range and so far so good. If I get something that won't work with the quilt I buy it for, I will use it for something else. It is good quality and wouldn't send it back, I always need fabric!

Not Red
If you are expecting true shades of red do not buy this fabric. Upon receiving it, it is more dark pink. It will not work for the Christmas project I wanted it for. The fabric is a nice weight and weave just not the color I needed. Thankfully this vendor allows returns.

Color WAY off
I bought 3 yards of the color cream (bottom pic). Package delivered says "cream" As you can see what I received is extremely lighter than what I ordered. Absolutely useless to me in this light, "butter-looking" color. The material would have been great if the color was true. Very Dissapointed!

Satisfied customer
I wasn’t sure about color and quality through a computer 👩🏽💻 screen. I will definitely be buying more from here. Quality and color were 100% as pictured and described.
