Beautiful But Glass is Extremely Fragile
Beautiful and seemingly well designed. I bought this in Berlin two years ago and brought it home. The glass decanter broke within two months while washing in the sink. I ordered another from the parent company and it too broke within a month of use. It looks like the best French Press you've ever owned. the enameled metal is beautiful, industrial design beyond compare, but the glass strength leaves a lot to be desired. Mind you I have Schott Zwiesel (parent company) stemware and it's much more resilient than the Jenaer Glas.
