I replaced the bolts in my toilet tank that connect it to the bowl. I noticed some movement, not much, in the tank, but from everything I read, that was normal for the type of installation bolts that I used. That said, I was still a little nervous that someone would lean back and crack the tank or something, so I got this kit to brace the tank against the wall, and it was very easy to install these to the tank and brace the tank against the wall. Made me feel alot better for someone to come poop at my house.

These sturdy and inexpensive plastic toilet tank holders are wonderful. They are easy to slip on the back of a toilet tank top and come with enough pieces to fill up any gap depth behind the tank top.We were concerned that the tank top movement would eventually brake the tank and flood the bathroom.The stoppers cannot be seen from the toilet front and....NO MORE WIGGLES!!!What a great product :-)

These are super-easy to use and work. The only thing I did not like was that you can see them from the top side. If it was designed to extend further 'down' the backside of the toilet, then it would be a 5-star rating from me. But, don't let that stop you from buying these because they really do work well.

If you have an older toilet and replace the internal components, there is a very good chance you may have difficulty making the tank sturdy. This is due to the fact that not all replacement components are made for the newer tanks. In my case there was space between the wall and the tank that caused it to wobble slightly. This poses a risk of the tank leaking. However, these simple adds made the tank sturdy and alleviate that risk. I highly recommend as a quick easy DIY fix anyone can do.

This item is an absolute necessity for toilet installs. So many times over my lifetime I've had to fix leaking tank seals because there was too much space between the tank and the wall. I was a tenant for a majority of my adult life and I found it was easier to fix the problem instead of calling the landlord. If I had some of these, they would have paid for themselves many times over. We have now built our log home and we installed new fixtures. I ordered these for the prevention of future repairs. They are good quality and a great value. I could not find these locally. Order yours now to save the repair costs and frustrations (I HATE PLUMBING). BTW I am a plumber's son. My dad left the plumbing trade and became an electrician. Needless to say, I skipped out on the plumbing experiences. My dad's family were all plumbers and they pretty much disowned us because he left the family tradition.

So I like the ease of use of this but it didn’t come with enough pieces for what I needed

After a remodel, I noticed the porcelain toilet was creaking if any pressure was applied to the back. I was so grateful to have found this very simple solution. The bracers fit great and solved the problem with just 1 min to install. Once I attached them, I cannot see the plastic bracers.The only small issues were:--I only wanted two bracers and I ended up getting four because I didn't realize that the package had two sets of two.--The lower end of size range advertised isn't completely accurate because the initial piece that hangs on the toilet is 1 inch thick. This is the piece that the other parts connect too when you need more distance, but this 1 inch starting part cannot be made smaller. I only had a 1 inch gap so I ended up using just the starter part with the hooks. Thus I would say the minimum gap this product can serve is a 1 inch gap. Anything smaller and this will not work.
