It's a thermometer. It works. It is pretty slow in settling in on a temp reading though, compared to the 2 other thermometers I have owned. I really liked the design of this probe, which gives you extra length. The way the cover attaches to give you that length is kind of flimsy though. My biggest complaint would be the tiny pressure buttons. Impossible to read, and difficult to press. Overall I would say it's just "ok". I'm going to purchase a different one and try again.

I have used this thermometer a few times now it is not instant it takes several seconds to come up to temperature. I find it fine for meats but when I tried to use it for candy it flashes all 8s. It does not like the higher temps needed to make candy. The buttons seem less than durable. I'll keep it for chicken and stuff but would not buy again.

Works great. Takes a couple of seconds to reach the true temperature.

This is a good thermometer! It's easy to read and has reading in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Still playing around with it and still trying to figure out our perfect temp for our perfect steak but so far it's working great! Bought mainly because of the relatively long handle, into which the case is supposed to turn when the thermometer is inserted into the case backwards. It falls out, however.

This is a great little thermometer. It can be changed from celcious to Ferienhight. I like the size of the probe on this unit. It is extra long and thin. With it being long and thin the probe does not leave big holes in the food for all the juices to to run out, and make the meat tough. The cap that is over the probe, also becomes a long handle. It snaps right over the end of the of the display. For someone like me who loves to cook, this is a great addition to my kitchen tools.
