Mary Magdalene in France: Second Edition

An excellent resource re all renditions of the Magdalene: historical, biblical, religious views, folklore, myth, art (visual and in various literary forms). It appears to be self-published - so it has its flaws: some redundancy and a number of what seem to be either typos or spelling errors (although the latter might have occurred as a result of English perhaps not being the author's first language). But these "flaws" are minor when compared to the amount of detail provided re Mary Magdalene. GREAT photos of MM art and of the places in France where she is honored and also where legends place her in the past (especially in Provence). Anyone who is "into" this awesome woman, on the impossible search for the truth about her existence and disappearance from the RC Church and from history, will appreciate this book.

this is another beautiful book from Jaap. I am now devoted to Mary Magdalena. The author has given beautiful pictures of Magdalena and her places of worship in France and a complete tour to where and what to expect if you make a pilgramage to Mary Magdalena shrines in France. It was Osho from where I started to learn about Marys devotion to Jesus. Thankyou Jaap! I am definitely going to buy from this author again.

Jaap truly understands the importance of the Magdalene lineage and how it is playing out for a historical shift of energies for our planet. An excellent photographer, guide and story-teller, I have had the opportunity to work with him during numerous tours and his book is an excellent collectors item for women seeking a better understanding of the Magdalene Mystery. Beautiful imagery that is sacred and memorable. I recommend it.
