I've bought and sent back 4 pairs due to sizing or fit. At last, these fit bang on - I'm size 34" They will sit on your hips and slightly above. I knew the quality was going to be good as soon as the delivery man handed me the bag packing they came in, I could tell by the weight. The design is unusual and not what you see everyone else wearing. Pockets are deep enough for a phone especially back pockets. Button up fly is exposed with no flap which is part of the design and easier to open and close. I'm keeping mine for occasions as I think they're too trendy for everyday use, but that's a matter of choice. I'm just very fussy with jeans, they have to look different design to all the others, fit exactly to my size and be a good weight which keeps shape for longer. Hope this helps you decide, Quentin
