Easy to install. Made my old bathtub look much better. Works well too. My plumber was impressed with the quality. Much better than trying to replace drain!

This Watco NuFit drain cover is working perfect for the application for which I needed it. Several years ago I had a clog in my shower drain and used some Liquid Plum-r to dissolve it. The clog was dissolved, but due to the standing Liquid Plum-r in my drain, the metal crossbar to my drain was also somewhat dissolved. A few months ago the crossbar finally broke off and our bathtub/shower stopper no longer worked. It looked terrible, too. I searched around and there were few simple solutions, the best being this Watco NuFit cover. The item looks high quality and comes with a fast-food ketchup sized silicone packet. The silicone simply gets placed on the bottom side of the drain and stuck on the existing faceplate of the old drain. It adheres perfectly and looks as if it was the original item. Installation took two minutes. The stopper function works via a twist mechanism; a half twist locks the top open and allows drainage, another half twist drops the top to stop the drain. This kit also comes with an overflow plate for above the drain as well.Some minor nitpicks: draining is a tad slower and the knob now sticks up a bit higher than the original but overall is an excellent solution for any simple drain freshening and/or repair purposes.

This is the best solution for replacing a tub drain with difficulty especially in apartment/condo where it was risky when something when wrong. I mentioned the difficulty included broken cross ribs & some being so tight even using an internal wrench that you are thinking you were capable to turn it but will likely to break something underneath. The result is outstanding & customer won't complain about its appearance.

I had my tub glazed, and the old drain looked horrible. This one made everything look brand new again.When I first glued it down, it did not stick tight, and I really had my doubts. But - I followed the directions, and just left it sit.In the morning - it was perfectly attached - very tight and snug. My kids are all using the bath - no problems, and it continues to look brand new. Easy, easy, easy. Anyone can do this.

Works as intended

Fits well. Had an odd shaped tub drain that I could not find a generic replacement for. So after some modifications to my old tub drain ( cutting out the crossbars), this fit nicely. The tube of silicone could be a little bigger, as it was just barely enough to fit and fill the gap.

Product is made for house flipping or temp solution. Glued on top of the old drain. Restrictive flow. But item itself is well made

I am happy with this NuFit lift and turn kit. I removed my previous drain cover that was rusting and replaced with this without a problem. I installed this hardware with plumbers putty.
