Jingchengmei 2U Steel Vertical Rack and Wall Mountable Server Rack Mount Bracket for 19inch Rack Mountable Network Equipment or Patch Panel (2U90)

I don't have a lot of room in my home networking closet, but I still wanted to have a Dell R630 server as the center of my network. Solution? Wall-mount it! How? This bracket! See the photo, and you can see it works very well. I got the 2RU, just in case I wanted to install something else in the future.

Good value rack bracket

We used these to mount a switch and patch panel to a wall. Folds out and holds 2U of equipment very well.

Rack worked great to mount a small PA amplifier in a wall cabinet. It's more than study enough for most things, but probably would look for something with longer mounting legs for very heavy servers.

I have put a couple of these in for some security camera NVRs. They are easy to assemble and work great to protect the NVR from theft a little bit. The rack mount just unfolds and you screw it into the wall and then you just mount whatever device you are trying to mount. It is very lightweight so I probably would put anything more than a switch and patch panel in it. But for what you get the price is right and if you are mount network equipment it is worth having one around as you never know when you need it.

My old 8 port HP swith was always on the floor and now it is up and out of the way. A+

It is missing a screw that mounts this rack mount to whatever you’re mounting it to. It should have 4. It’s a small thing and I can source others but it’s annoying to expect this to be ready for install and have to stop what you’re doing to go buy a screw from Ace.

Aunque en la descripción pone plegable, sin más indicaciones, se sobreentiende que se puede plegar una vez montado. Mentira. Solo se puede plegar durante el transporte, para ocupar menos espacio. Una vez montado, queda fijo, no como otros modelos de otros fabricantes. Eso genera un problema adicional cuando la unión donde se pliega no es perfecta Es posible que las dimensiones reales sean menores de 19” y por tanto el elemento que queramos enracar realmente no entre Por fortuna en mi caso el juego de los tornillos me permitió su montaje Mi consejo al fabricante: que cuide esa parte para evitarle devoluciones innecesarias Por lo demás, perfecto

折りたたみ式で小さなパッケージで届きましたので、これはイケるかも。と思いつつオーディオラックの側面に取り付けました。 ここに1U サイズの機材を２台（合わせて約 4kg）載せましたが、(1) 取付用銀ピカの M6 ビス（かなり短め）とナットが４組しか入っていない上にサイズが大きすぎて目障り、(2) 総質量が数キログラムの機材にもかかわらず機材側面が垂直（ラックと平行）にならない、という想定外の問題が発生しました。このラックを水平面に取り付けると機材後部が垂れ下がります。早い話がアイデアは良いものの機材実装を想定したツメが足りないと感じます。 (1) に関しては 丸皿小ねじ三価黒、黒色 POM ロゼットワッシャ を某社から購入、(2) 垂直が出ないのは見苦しいので機材とラックの間に大きめのゴム足を挿入して体裁を整えました。細かいことを気にしなければそれですむ話ですが、物づくりにはそれ相応の気配りが必要と感じます。お陰様で余計な出費と時間を要したという話です。
