Silent Circle 2 Blackphone Hard Case
J**K
does not provide complete protection
First, don't think for a moment that this is a proper case. It is a simple pumper case that only protects the back and sides of the phone. In the absence of any actual screen protectors for the blackphone2, it is a little disappointing that we only get protection for the back and sides of the phone. All of that said, it is a thin, sleek pumper case that doesn't detract from the Blackphone2's aesthetics. On the bright side, I can now use the leather belt case I bought without the tight fit causing the phone to reboot when the volume and power buttons are all compressed

Disappointed....
While I am enamored of my Blackphone 2, I am equally disappointed in the hardcase I ordered to protect it. It is extremely thin and flimsy and the bar above the slot for the volume control knob snapped off while I was putting the phone in. I also find that the smoothness of it make the device more susceptible to slipping from my hand. At a cost of $15.84 I expected something a little more durable. Perhaps an alliance with a company like Otterbox to develop a case for the phone would be a good idea since the phone is quite and investment and I'd like to protect it as best I can.

It protects the sides and back (haven't dropped it yet)
It is a bumper case that fits the phone perfect. ONLY PROTECTORS THE SIDES AND BACK, NOT THE SCREEN!Purchased this holding case which attaches to belt - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016FLX1PI?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_7Be warned though, after buying the holding case linked here, I left the phone in it for a few days to kind of settle in since it is a perfect tight fit so it is hard to get the phone in and out quickly. But when you are walking, never have to worry about phone slipping out or being pick pocketed.Luckily, having the hardcase while being kept in the holding case prevents the buttons from getting stuck and having phone reboot.I am currently looking for a screen protector now.

This is a functional hard case for the Blackphone 2 ...
This is a functional hard case for the Blackphone 2. It certainly isn't the 'be all, end all' answer to your BP2 case woes.As others have mentioned, as a niche phone, don't expect a lot in the way of accessories. I ended up having my screen protector mailed to me from the Czech Republic from the skinzone guys.I'll probably buy a iPhone 6P wallet case that has a polycarb insert for the phone, find a way to tear it out, and then glue this in it's place so I can have a wallet case for my BP2.Desperate times call for desperate measures.EDIT - I ordered this iPhone 6 Plus wallet case - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O7NHCP2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00 and modified it. I removed the iPhone polycarb holder and replaced it with this one for the Blackphone 2, using Gorilla Glue to hold it in the wallet case. I had to cut the camera slot vertically on the back, but no big deal. Photo attached of the results, I'm pleased with it for what it is. Thankfully the iPhone 6P and the BP2 are dimensionally quite similar.

Arrived Cracked / Broken
Initially, I was quite wary about buying this case, due to the poor customer ratings. However, there appears to be no alternatives, so I ordered one. It arrived today with the corner cracked and partly broken off. The Amazon packing was rigid and undamaged, so I would say the case itself is weak - as other reviewers have noted. Sadly, it's a return and a refund. I won't buy it again. IMO, Silent Circle should address this asap - it leaves a negative impression. If anyone else has a silicon/ TPU / rigid case solution for this phone, I'd love to hear about it in a product review or an entry in Customer Questions and Answers. This iPhone 6 Plus case (eg. http://www.amazon.com/Kingsource-Leatherette-Horizontal-Magnetic-Vertical/dp/B00OELLMEY/ref=cm_wl_huc_item ) fits the phone nicely, with some extra wriggle room for a silicon/ TPU / rigid case - IF one could only find one!UPDATE: I found a soft case for a phone with similar dimensions to BP2, which arrived today and seems to fit well enough - although a little big. It's the Amzer Pudding Soft Gel TPU Skin Fit Case Back Cover for Xiaomi Redmi Note( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MA10EE4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00 )ALL the openings are in the wrong spots (!), so will require making new holes. On/off and volume covers in this case appear close enough to work well enough. Not an ideal solution but will offer some protection of rear and edges of BP2. Kingsource case mentioned above, will accommodate phone with this Amzer soft case on it.

Don't bother! Waste of effort.
Very flimsy case. Misleading as it does not tell you that it only protects the back.Cheaply made. Disgruntled that I have to go through the motions of sending it back. Not worth purchasing!

Basically a piece of plastic. Aside from keeping the back of the phone from getting scratched, it does nothing. Zero drop protection, sort of slick.

Modest protection at best
The case should be re-designed to protect the corners of the phone (against shocks from the front-side of the corners); currently the corners are very vulnerable to shocks WHEN it will hit the ground. The last thing desired is a smashed screen, as there are no parts to replace it.
