STRATTON MEN'S CEDAR SHOE TREE - MADE IN USA

Im serious about what i put on my feet. These are certainly good shoe trees.

I was skeptical whether shoe trees work or not originally. After much reading on why shoe trees are important, I came across these and given they are made from cedar wood and are high quality, I decided to buy them. Since I've had them in the past few weeks, I have put them in several pairs of leather shoes and boots I have and they definitely work in decreasing/removing the creases in leather, reshaping and straightening the shoes, absorbing moisture and odors, and returning the shoes to their original shape. The very aromatic natural cedar wood used in the production is also a great plus; keeping its scent after extended use. Even after the scent is reduced, a light sanding will bring back a new layer of cedar with the original scent. I'd definitely recommend this pair of shoe trees!

I recently bought some nice leather work shoes and noticed visible creases within weeks of wearing them that didn't go away with a simple polish. I bought these in order to help maintain the life of the shoes.This is the first pair of shoe trees I've ever bought, so without anything else to compare it to, let me say that these have worked for my shoes. I have large feet (12 wide/13, generally) and these fit my shoes snuggly and aren't hard to remove.I noticed a positive difference for my shoes in reducing the eventually inevitable creases in them. The cedar wood also makes them smell better, but that was a secondary concern for me.

I ordered 3 pair because I have some new and rather expensive ankle boots that I want to last a very long time. They are size 10 1/2 so I ordered the large size. They fit perfectly. It has spring action so it's easy to fit it inside of the boot. Then there's that wonderful cedar smell. The cedar was sanded well. Each of the three I ordered are very smooth. I don't think you could find a better quality shoe tree for the price. Stratton went the extra step and packaged in a very nice box with tissue wrap. I highly recommend and would order again.

I read some of the product reviews where said the heads were shaped oronge should the shoe or the boot. I have not found that to be a problem if it was I could have sanded it myself with the little bit of sandpaper but did not run into this issue. These have been awesome I use them for my boots and my shoes they help stretch the boots and the shoes. I wrap the shoe tree in some saran wrap get the leather boot wet and shove it in there and let it dry it stretches my leather boot great.

I recently bought a pair of Tecovas Men's boots and wanted shoe trees to help keep their shape and ddurability. The Stratton narrow shoe trees worked perfectly. The split toe design makes them easy to insert and remove.Having used shoe trees in all my leather shoes for decades, I'm convinced the cedar material will ensure the boots last and maintain my investment in the boots.

Great fitting shoe trees, they support my shoes and it’s a treat that they are USA made especially at a Chinese price point. They are easy to slide in and out and have a solid fit.I will say though that the quality is a little inconsistent, there seems to be slight manufacturing variations from previous iterations. Perhaps a change in manufacturer or different QC manager. I took photos of the older version vs. the new.Differences:The addition of the branded “right” and “left” On new ones, great move.There is wood cracks found on the new ones, I wouldn’t imagine that it would completely break apart but this company has been good with replacements from other views.New ones are larger in front last and heel, which I needed the previous ones didn’t seem to be wide enough for a D width but I did verify with size chart.The last vent cut is larger in the new ones.The scent doesn’t last long but they smell great when it’s present.Overall a good value item and they work as a shoe tree.

I recently bought a new pair of size 10.5 M shoes and needed to buy a pair of shoe trees. I decided to go with cedar, but agonized over what size. I picked the Stratton brand because the trees are made in the U.S. and because of the fine reviews. The listing for a large of this brand is 10.5 to 11.5, and after reading the reviews I ordered the large size. I'm relieved - they fit well. I don't want to stretch the shoes, so I stopped pushing when I could feel no slack on the sides of the front few inches of the shoe, even though the trees do not quite reach the tip of the toe. (The trees are generously wide.) This required only a modest amount of force. There is still some range with the spring inside the trees. The finish of the wood is excellently smooth, and I like the cedar aroma. I've only had the trees for a few days. I'll update my review after a few months. If all goes well, I'll order more of these to replace some old plastic ones.

Have only had these for almost exactly 3 months. Was putting one of the shoe trees inside of my boot and the wood portion at the end of the tree broke in half.Will be contacting customer service and we’ll see how it goes.Edit 1/8/19: After charting with customer service (with very quick replies), they had never had a shoe tree with that issue. They were very apologetic and forwarded my pictures to their manufacturing team. They sent a replacement set and arrived quickly.The product itself works great. The design allows it to fit many different types, shapes, sizes, and widths of boots and shoes. I used the trees to make polishing my boots easier so I don’t have to stick my hands in my boots.Overall, great product and great customer service!3/1/2020I’ve been using these nearly 5 days a week depending on my schedule. Still holding strong and working great!

I have several of these purchased from different retailers and these are by far the best. I like that each one is labeled right or left, I like the ridge to use to pull them out because others I’ve had that use leather strings have broken. They have a strong cedar smell which is nice and they appear to be high quality.

I looked at lots of images of these shoe trees before I bought them but was unsure of how they actually adjust to fit the range of sizes that they claim to accommodate. That part of the purchase process was a little iffy because no photos or explanation showed exactly how that works. I purchased anyway hoping that they were going to work in stretching my expensive cycling shoes. They are spring loaded in the stems, compressing to put them in the shoe and expanding once in. They don't manually adjust and they don't lock. I would prefer a manual adjustment that locks at the setting I choose. But considering all that, these shoe trees are well made and perform well. Regardless if they stretch my cycling shoes or not (the verdict is still out on that one) they will do what they are designed to do and that would be to keep my dress shoes looking good.

Excellent product of very high quality. I recently purchased a very expensive (to me at least...nearly 300 dollars) pair of suede chukka boots. I bought a higher quality pair this time because I realize expensive footwear like this generally lasts much longer. Given proper care and and the ability to be resoled, I anticipate that these will last me a very long time. Something I realized with previous pairs of leather shoes is that they tend to deform over time...with me this is especially a problem because my feet tend to sweat a lot and this results in quite damp leather at the end of the day. Leaving them without support in this dampened state between use ultimate made the leather to become unsightly and "wavy". Enter these fantastic shoe trees. They smell amazing and conform perfectly to the shape of the "toe box" and really the entire forward half of the boot. The rear is less finely tuned to the shape of my boot but this area has numerous layers of leather and is much stiffer so it isnt prone to the same level of structural degradation over time. The trees still do provide adequate support to that part of my boot while they dry/ sit overnight. I anticipate this product will extend the life of my beloved new boots substantially while also making my closet smell quite manly. A++

I recently bought a rather expensive pair of walking shoes from Joya ($239) with a pretty pale pink pearlized leather top. I love these shoes! They are so comfy!!! I want them to last and look good for a long time. The Stratton cedar shoe trees were a justifiable expense to preserve my "investment". Some plastic shoe trees came with the shoes, but plastic against the inside of a, perhaps slightly moist, shoe which has just been worn all day wasn't going to cut it. These cedar trees are better quality than some I saw in a store for around the same price. They serve the purpose of helping to preserve my shoes, maintain their shape and keep them looking new for a long time. I also wipe my shoes about every other use, with a micro fiber cloth, to get the street dirt off of them. Glad I got these shoe trees!

Great quality boot trees, Shipped quick and arrived new in box. Great service support. I buy this brand for all my tree insert needs.

I have two types of boot trees one being Stratton and find Stratton brand to be more functional and superior to the other brand I will not mention by name. Overall great product I'd buy Stratton boot trees for all my boots.
