It took about 3 weeks covered to keep the moisture in and under the lamp, and I was worried but they sprouted and are growing. I few didn't make it, but so far so good with the rest. With a little tlc yours will too I bet. I'm pretty excited to get these going in the yard by my fence

These have a wonderful germination rate! I ordered from 3 suppliers and this was the only one that sprouted. Received a package of 20 seeds and 15 of them sprouted for a 75% germination rate. If you’re interested in buying chiltepin seeds this a great place to get them!

6/2021 update pic: Healthy plants!Take care while attempting to germinate, and then this lovely gem will continue to produce year after year.I literally achieved 100% successful germination rate with these seeds. See the picture. ( the last few broke the surface, 5 days after the rest)Simply wet your medium, plant the seeds according to the package instructions. Then, here is the trick. Put the seed pods inside of a 1 gallon zip lock bag and seal it up. Place under your grow light, and thats it!Best of luck!

These were good seeds. I got a 80% to germinate with no problem. Supposedly they are difficult to germinate with a low percentage. I put them in a pot and lightly sprinkled dirt on them and placed the pot in the window sill. Sprayed with water every couple of days and they were busting out after 6 days.

So far I have only planted half the seeds but they all germinated! Can't wait until they mature.
