great for mats in long-haired cat
Our new long-haired Maine Coon had mats in her armpits when adopted, and the brush was too awkward to reach the spot. This comb was perfect and did the job in a matter of days. Since then, we have been using it to check for potential mats, and it is doing a good job of keeping her undercoat in check.

Love it!
Recommended by my vet. My cat mats easily and this is perfect for working the tangles out

The cat likes it, isn't that the most important thing?
My cat has very long sheddy hair. you know, the kind that rolls across the kitchen floor and sticks to the couch like a tumble weed. The combs teeth are the perfect. distance It doesn't pull (you must be gentile) and really takes out a lot of hair, performing as advertised. It's a good size with a nice grip for your hand to stay comfortable. Plus it was less $ than the others lined up saying take me, take me!

Seems well built, just ok for tangles
I've always just used a cheap flea comb for the occasional tangle or deshedding of my borzoi but the head broke off the handle and so I went shopping for a regular comb. I wish the tines were finer/closer together as that works better for me getting his under fluff, but this works ok enough. Thankfully he is surprisingly low maintenance.

My arthritic finger joints thank me.
This PIEPEA Pet Comb works pretty well when I comb out my labradoodle in between grooming appointments. As my dog's hair grows, his curls are more likely to become matted. I have to comb him every several days. I have used the standard metal comb, and after 20 minutes my fingers hurt. After all these years, I decided to search for a better alternative with an easier grip. I like the rubberized handle, alternating teeth/pins that don't rotate, and it appears sturdy enough to do a good job for a while. When I found this comb and saw the price drop a few dollars, I ordered one. I can still gently comb out my doodle's mats and dead hair with less pain (for the both of us). My arthritic finger joints thank me.

Works Well on Superficial Matting
Works well for removing superficial matting on long hair cats! Easy to use and strong handle!

Works great!
Works great on my long-haired Siamese cat who frequently develops mats. With regular use of this new comb, I expect there will be few mats, if any, in the future. I wish I'd found this years ago!

Need to be gentle
This comb is very effective in removing knots and matting, but the teeth are a tad bit too sharp. They need to be more rounded so you can get right to the skin and not cause any irritation. This is super important. Otherwise, it's a good comb; the size is nice, the handle is comfortable. Almost a perfect product!

This comb is VERY short....the length of the actual comb is just over 7 cm long, so unsuitable for grooming anything but quite small pets like cats or puppies or possibly toy breeds of dogs. I have a long and short-toothed comb and wanted a second one to keep in the car for travelling. My teeth area of the existing comb is more than 2 cm longer than this one. I have a small breed of dog, but this comb is still too short for grooming.

I was going to return this brush because I have two other brushes that work fine but decided to keep it anyways and try it out. I used this brush on my very fluffy Persian kitten today and was honestly surprised at how good it works. The long and short teeth really got in her coat and removed the extra fur and little pieces of dust/dirt that got under there. I have two other brushes, one with teeth that rotate and a compact one, and compared to those two I found this brush the most effective; especially to brush her back and tail. It detangled the fur on the belly and neck well, though it took me a couple of tries on each tangle and I had to go very slowly. I found this brush best for removing the loose fur but for "styling" my cat's hair to fluff it up a bit after brushing, I would use one of the other brushes that I have. It was comfortable to hold, and easy to quickly brush the kitten for the most part. Perfcet for my kitten because she hates being brushed in general. The brush itself seems very sturdy so hopefully it lasts me a few years. It was also easy to clean. I was able to remove all the hair it collected just by running me hand along the brush once. If you're on the fence I would say go for it because for the price, it really does a good job at removing the loose fur both from the top and deep inside the coat.

Bonne prise avec la main et le peigne à une bonne longueur pour peigner un chat et ramasse bien les poils mort près du corps.

For a moulting bunny, it is important to brush your bunny's coat to help remove excess fur. However, you have to be careful with the pet brush and slicker brush for cats and dogs as bunny's skin is very sensitive. This Piepea pet comb has metal teeth but are rounded off, which is gentle on the skin. The design is very similar to the much more expensive Hair Buster comb, except it doesn't have the rubber on base of comb that helps to grip onto hair. However, a simple hack is to weave a rubber band between the teeth which turns this comb into an affordable Hair Buster comb. The handle is nice and grippy and easy to hold and with the rubber band hack, this comb worked great to help brush my moulting bunny.
