The Surgiderm range, manufactured by Allergan, is based on their patented cross-linking process called "3D Hyaluronic Acid Matrix Technology", which is claimed to allow for a tighter, more uniform, and greater number of cross-link structures - allowing greater resistance to degradation, meaning that it last longer than other hyaluronic based fillers. Surgiderm 24XP is an effective Hyaluronic Acid based filler with the concentration of slightly more than 24 mg/mL. It can be used while executing two major types of treatments: 1) correction and elimination of moderate and deep wrinkles and folds; 2) adjustment and enhancement of the contour of lips, which may have been slightly deformed due to aging. In both cases, this product serves the role of both dermal filler and face modelling preparation, which has no negative impact thanks to its safe and effective composition. So recommendations for the use of Surgiderm 24XP as follows: 1) Decreasing the visibility of small, moderate-size and deep wrinkles; 2) Enhancing the contour of the lips and elevating them slightly; 3) Introducing minor corrections after primary treatments; 4) Adjusting and modeling the face contour by means of filling in all the recessed spots; 5) Increasing the prominence of cheeks, lower jaw, and lip areas, as well as the spots surrounding them.
