I learned a lot from reading this book. I loved all the real life examples he gave.

This book covers pretty much everything under the sun.A good book to know the basics.If you are looking for operational strategies then this book is not for that.

The book covers a good range of aspects on logistics, up to date, very practical and provides great advice. Lots of examples and tables for reference, covers a wide range of topics as well as providing expert guidance. Very proud to have it on my bookshelf and handy for quick reference.

This book provides a lot of the basics. About 50% is on warehousing and 50% on transportation.It is UK and Europe focus and for trucking it doesn’t give the entire story.I have been working in Logistics for 40 years having worked for an airline, ocean line, trucking line, parcel carrier, freight forwarder, and manufacturer. Most books I’ve read and reviewed miss too much of the basics that are critical for text books.This book hits some of the points but misses a lot too. That is why I gave it 3 star rating.

I'm new to this topic and this book gave a good overview of the industry to help me get started.

This book is written specifically for someone operating in the British and European Union markets. Despite that the information contained in it is transferable to almost anyone who operates in the logistics marketplace. It is detailed with lots of guidance and references to point you in the direction you need to go. It’s a good addition to your shel if you are in this business.
