Vegan friendly capsules made in the UK. These are easy to swallow with no aftertaste. The effects of the turmeric are excellent with absorption aided by the bioperine. Combining ginger is great for me as I often take this separately. Great for muscular aches and pains - I have a chronic post-viral pain due to inflammation and these help me to reduce my reliance on other anti-inflammatory medication. Recommended

Although this a is a rather cheap turmeric supplement, the amount of curcumin (the active ingredient) seems to be rather low. On the plus side, it comes seasoned with black pepper. Although it's a cost effective entry to turmeric, you might also want to investigate some of the stronger supplements that refine significantly larger quantities.Also, the instructions say:"Simply take 2 a day prior to a balanced breakfast, lunch or dinner."For breakfast, I like to have three slices of black pudding, five rashers of bacon, four fried eggs, three slices of fried bread and five sausages. And a Black Forest gateau. I don't think that counts as being a "balanced breakfast", so I've been taking mine prior to lunch or dinner.

At the current price of £8.99 for a 90-day supply of organic turmeric (with organic black pepper and organic ginger included), this supplement is a bargain. The only other ingredient is vege cellulose, which is used to make the capsule shells. There are no fillers, binders, sweeteners, flavourings or other such unnecessary rubbish. Just pure goodness. Piperine (a compound in black pepper) radically increases the human body's absorption of curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric), which is why all the best curcumin/turmeric supplements also include piperine/black pepper. Ginger acts in synergy with turmeric and black pepper as well as having a host of beneficial properties of its own.There's nothing to criticise about this supplement. The manufacturer got everything right. This cruelty-free organic supplement delivers a wide range of health benefits. Excellent value for money too.There are only three criteria for grading the quality of any supplement: purity, potency and efficacy. These turmeric capsules from Yoga Naturals check all three boxes.

My wife has been taking Turmeric for just over a year now as she has osteoarthritis in her knee and hip, she's absolutely confident that this supplement helps to relieve the pain. The bottle holds 180 capsules and the daily dosage is 2 capsules per day, at the time of my review this gives you 90 days supply for £8.99 which is pretty good value.The capsules are fairly easy to swallow, if you take them with a glass of water - they are high strength, vegan friendly and made in the UK. Happy to recommend these.

I am a real convert to the benefits of high-strength turmeric -- particularly for osteoarthritis and other conditions which cause inflammation and chronic pain. There is a big range of turmeric supplements out there but I was really pleased to see that these are in the middle of the higher strength range (at the recommended daily dose of two capsules) and very importantly, contain black pepper. One of the compounds in black pepper has been scientifically proven to increase the body's ability to absorb the active components in the turmeric. This means that you really need to choose a supplement including black pepper or you will not fully benefit. This product adds ginger, another plant with anti-inflammatory properties; I can't see any additional effect the ginger is having, at least not yet, but it is certainly not causing me any problems.You can find higher-strength formulations, including those that use an extract of turmeric to pack more of the active ingredient into the tablet, but these are more mainstream and offer a good dosing level for those new to turmeric (hint: maybe start with one capsule at a time, and take it with food, to be sure you are ok with the strength of the dose).These capsules are vegan (important for me), and as easy to swallow as other standard sized capsules with water or a hot drink. They are the usual size -- if you have difficulty with caplets and capsules, you may need to choose an alternative. They are also made in Britain, which adds a level of confidence that the strength and purity will be as stated. Indeed this product looks very similar to more expensive brands available and as such represents very good value for money.I often recommend turmeric supplements to my friends and family -- this product gives you a 3 month supply literally for 1 or 2p per day, and 3 months is long enough in my experience to know whether you are getting any benefit. I have nothing but good things to say about this product.
