Fills an important need!
I wanted a book like this one--helping little ones recognize feelings, using photographs and not drawings--and was surprised at how hard it was to find! This book is great--yes; it's a light paperback, and it's short and pretty simple. I got it in the mail a week ago, and it quickly earned an honored place in our 17-month-old's favorite books rotation--he picks it up and brings it to me multiple times a day. He studies the other children's faces, and my husband and I take turns making the faces, too, which our son seems to find fascinating. It gives us a natural way to talk about feelings good and bad as natural, and to help our kid understand what he's feeling and what other people are communicating to him. I wish there were more like it, but I'm grateful to have this book!

Better to print your own cards
Meh. There's not much to it. For the price I expected more.

Wonderful children's book
Wonderful children's book! Simple and to the point, with terrific expressive photos of young children portraying a variety of human emotions. The "book version" of the delightful animated children (and adults!) film "Inside Out"!

A must-have for all ages!
When I bought this deceptively simple picture book for our 2 and a half year old, Logan, I didn't expect Julie, our 6 year old, to take such an avid interest in it! She read it to Logan night after night, often making up the stories behind the expressions! Before long the book had so much wear and tear, I had to buy a second copy!
