Great
Love these when I heat them properly. Sometimes I heat them a bit too much and the shrink coating melts. Just be careful with applied heat and they work like a champ.

Amazing. Use butane torch!
I needed a ton of butt joints for my boat I just re-wired completely with 14 awg ancor wire on every circuit, all I really needed. These little connectors are awesome! They really do work. You MUST use a butane torch or lighter to seal them up and melt the solder IMO. Using a regular bic type lighter will scorch the plastic and make it harder to to melt the solder and see what you’re doing overall. Butane torch 100% and you’ll love them. Every solder connection I made is just perfect and I probably have 50+ of them in the boat. Having every butt joint soldered and sealed tight in my re-wired boat is just amazing. I also love that the colored adhesive is farther up into the sleeve than other options. I don’t write reviews. But this product compelled me to do so. Buy them. It’s a no brainer.

Great quality and solid connections!
I bought these for some wiring projects in my SUV. I was a bit hesitant at first after reading some of the reviews on here, but once I got them I found they were very easy to use with my heat gun.The biggest key is to not use the highest heat setting, and you will see the tubing shrink down, and the solder will start to melt soon after. If you are seeing the tubing melting, you have your heat too high!I'm planning on using these to replace some of my other connections that aren't as stable. Highly recommend these!

Quick & Ease Wire Connection solution
I've been using these for a few years with Christmas lightning (outside & in the snow). These work really well and are much more convenient and easy to work with over traditional soldering and shrink wrap. I will say that I have noticed they do seem to have an unused shelf life. I've found that some of the unused sleeves, if I try to use them a year later, the solder won't melt. That's not a huge issue as I typically just buy up several prior to the season and they work well.

Works very well but takes getting used to
They take a little getting used to so do a few "practice splices" before doing a real splice. The outer plastic becomes VERY SOFT at the temps needed to melt the solder so care is needed. If you get the plastic a little too hot it will char. Once you get used to them, they work very well. Highly recommend you use a heat gun and not a match or lighter. A small handheld heat gun will work in the smallest (white) connectors but for the next size up (blue) and larger, you will likely need a full size heat gun.

Work great
These work great for connecting wires, much faster than soldering and more secure than but connectors. Ive never had an issue with one.

Simple, effective, clean
I was looking for some wire-to-wire connectors, which these do just fine for, but I actually found them to be very useful for RGB LED (4-pin 5mm) bulbs. Bezels for these bulbs will come with 2-leg mounts, so you're really left on your own if you want an RGB LED in a bezel mount.Anyway, these solder seals are perfect for them - the legs extend out past beyond the center soldering point, which makes things very easy. I'm using the 22-18ga seals, and while they grip well enough for a solid, professional looking connection, you may want to use the smaller size if you intend on doing pin-pin / pin-wire connections.
