Respect its capacity.
This isn’t a 2000w or 3000w inverter, don’t try running a microwave off of it. Works well for its rating though.

One of the best inverters I've owned. It will lasts 3 years.
This is a fantastic inverter. I have LOTS of inverters and the larger your wattage, the larger the idle draw is. This was perfect. Long story short: I used this when I wasn't powering a whole lot of things. It worked fantastic. Quiet, low energy draw. Today this unit died. Nothing wrong with that. All electronics will fail. This 600W inverter lasted 3 years, under a 50-80% load, virtually every day for 3 years. Your milage will very, and your load, your temp, your dust level, your expectations.... will make a difference. I'm ordering another one.

Great product, almost perfect. Great for high end electronics
So far loving this inverter. True sine wave. Runs my high-end E-bike charger, mac book charger and other sensitive electronics like a boss.*Note to users who stated this doesn't handle true 600 watts. YOU CAN'T PULL 600W WITH THE INCLUDED ALLIGATOR CLIPS. There isn't enough surface area to draw the full 50A necessary to run 600w. If you use the included alligator clips you can only draw about 25A or about 300W.You must buy separate wire to attach this to your battery. This is why i didn't leave 5 stars. That and because the + and - screw terminals on the inverter could be a little bigger imo. It was difficult to secure good 8 awg wires to and would be better if they were bigger/had more surface area.Other than that i am super excited about this inverter. It is actually a lot quieter than i was expecting with the fan on. I was worried about having this in my bedroom but it's really not loud at all and it doesn't disturb me at all. Which is nice because i had a cheap inverter whose fan would drown out music and keep me up at night.I highly recommend this inverter.

Great small inverter
This product is bigger than some, but it’s held up well and I believe is more efficient than my all in one power station.Size of an inverter is important, for smaller extended use loads the power overhead makes a difference.

BEWARE of loose material + explosions due to horrible quality control !!!!!!
My review is on the "PowerTech ON Advanced Technology PURE SINE WAVE Inverter 600W ". I purchased in on December 2015. Super fast free ground shipping was nice... even during the busy Chistmas holiday.EDIT - FEBRUARY 01, 2016After "initially" testing the unit for a few hours, I packed it away for a month until I could install it on my system.I heard A LOOSE OBJECT INSIDE THE INVERTER. Before I could disconnect the wires, I rotated the unit about 45 degrees & ... KABOOM!!! The loose part contacted with something internally. FYI: There was no load (nothing plugged in) on the inverter.I now notice that the 600w Inverter IS NO LONGER ON THE MARKET at Amazon. Mmmmmmmm. This ALSO means that no one might not see my updated review if it is not available. I will be contacting PowerTech on tech support about a refund... or dispute the charges on my credit card if I am not satisfied.-------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW - DECEMBER 2015:ORIGINAL REVIEW - DECEMBER 2015:This is my first "pure" sine wave inverter. I've had 2 cheaper inverters for each car for those occasional simple phone/laptop charging situations... so this Power Tech 600W is for my backup home solar setup. For my needs a 600w (1200w surge) is a great choice for my residential "inconvenience power outages" that may crop up where I need clean reliable sine wave power. Heck, with this, a 100 watt solar panel, charge controller and a 12v deep cycle (size 29) marine battery, you have renewable daily power during hurricane season, camping, remote cabin or whatever. Also, lot quieter than a gas generator for - all for about $350.PROS:- Works as advertised.- Cooling fan only runs if the wattage is over (about) 95W, therefore increasing efficiency wattage-wise.- Solid metal construction, built like a tank.- Lots of features: external fuse easy access, Thermal, Overload, Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Low Voltage protection alarm.- Inverter comes with an LED light to indicate problems if any issues arise.- Good/positive reviews on Amazon.- One of the least expensive true sine wave inverters at Amazon.CONS:- None so far.FYI - PLEASE NOTE:The inverter comes with battery clips in a white unmarked box that might be mistaken for packing material. So don't throw it away!!!! I think this may be the reason why one reviewer on another site may have mentioned he didn't get battery clips. Not sure of the gauge of the battery clip wiring, yet I'll use it as a backup since I purchased a thicker (4 gauge) cabling for optimal power transfer.I would gladly buy another if needed.ORIGINAL REVIEW - DECEMBER 2015ORIGINAL REVIEW - DECEMBER 2015

Over 1.8 years of moderate use and still working great in mobile van environment
I needed something compact and small to fit on top of the AGM battery case. 600W is ideal in term of size and light-medium AC loads. The 1000W and 1500W models are just too big and hard to move around or hide under the seat of a van. The pure sine wave is important because it gives me a clean and reliable 117-120VAC. Other non-pure sine wave inverters I currently use go down to a low 90-95VAC. Most sensitive devices will not work at this voltage. I also have small UPS in the van and it does not like 92VAC from other non-pure sinewave inverter. Constantly beeping whenever 92VAC is used. But when I put this inverter in, performance has been flawless. I have couple of transfer switches in the car for automatic connect between shore, car alternator and inverter power. The transfer switch transfer the voltage as-is. So if your source is 92VAC, it'll transfer 92VAC out. If it's 118VAC, then 118VAC will be out. Mounting the ring connector on this inverter requires some modifications to avoid possible short of the 2 terminals, especially when using 8 to 6 AWG wires. Trick is to add tape and plastic material to cover the contact. This is to minimize the risk of the contacts being shorted. This inverter so far works fine after 1.8 years. Price is very good and costs nearly the same as other non pure sine wave inverters. I would recommend this because the output voltage is very clean and up to specs. A feature revision to this model request is a remote power on/off option that I only see on the 1000W+ models.
