Vital for Air Hoses & Tools
These 1/4" Quick Connects are vital when using Air Tools & Hoses. I use them on all Air Hoses and they allow for extremely quick connections when chaining air hoses together, or switching to different tools. I've never had one leak or break when installing properly, and they get some abuse with dragging / dropping on the floor. Some tips for installation:- Wrap the threads with teflon tape (in direction of the threads) at least 2-3 times, more if you have thinner teflon tape.- Use 2 Wrenches - One on the body of this fitting, the other on the hose / air tool your connecting them to, and swing in oppose directions until tight. Check for leaks and adjust / tighten as needed.
