I have found all of the Kyolic products over the years to be top of the line. When I send a request for information on one of there products-they answer quickly and professionally. I have been using Kyolic Aged Garlic Formula 106 for my heart issues. It is the best herb I use for my heart problems. A doctor suggested me to take a very small amount of cayenne pepper-up to 40mg per day-for my weak heart. I found Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract Formula 106 perfect for that amount of cayenne. This doctor said that Garlic and Cayenne pepper were on the top of his list for good heart circulation, but that most people take way too much cayenne pepper for the heart and body system.

First off, the foil seal is very difficult to grasp in any way and then it will not peel completely! Next, they reduced the size of the opening substantially making it very difficult to dispense the capsules. This is in reference to the 300-capsule container, which is what I have been using. WHY change this? Why make it difficult for you customers? I transferred my capsules to the old 300 container. The product, #106 I have taken for years and I'm good with that.

Garlic supplements seem to reduce total and LDL (bad) cholesterol, particularly in those with slightly high cholesterol. There appears to be no effect on HDL (good) cholesterol and triglycerides. People have believed in garlic’s medicinal properties for thousands of years. Science is now beginning to confirm it. Garlic is safe and healthy for most people. But if you’re taking blood thinners, talk with a doctor before drastically increasing your garlic intake.

I overall like these capsules & have purchased in various sized options. I find them quite easy to swallow. They are sometimes a good value & sometimes not. The price varies widely, even from day to day. I would recommend taking these with food as on an empty stomach you end up “tasting” them for quite some time after. I bought as a replacement for another type & am generally happy with them (when I can get them at a good price).
