This was a cool little model. I enjoyed putting it together.

I think that anyone who buys these building toys has no illusions that they are Lego, but with that said this building set is actually pretty cool. I received this building set as a discount review sample in exchange for providing a honest and unbiased review.Despite the fact that these are not Lego I will compare and contrast them to official Lego blocks and sets. The building set comes in a well illustrated box that is reminiscent of Lego. The one page directions sheet is condensed but easy to understand. The blocks closely resemble another well known building block company in fact they are compatible with most other parts from Lego that I attempted to assemble them with. There are some noticeable but not deal breaking QC tolerance issues. For instance the flag blocks that are included in the set correctly connect to the blocks they are supposed to but are not tight enough to pose, they are kind of floppy. for me this wasn't an issue.The "astronaut" figurine that is included in the set comes COMPLETELY disassembled, as in install the hands in the arms the legs in the hips and the arms in the torso disassembled. also the figurine doesn't sit in the set it is just extra. similar to the mini sets LEGO did for star wars.All in all I think the set is a good buy. I am a huge fan and collector of Lego and this set while it is not Lego should easily integrate into my collection nicely.A solid 4 starsIf you found my review helpful to you please click the yes button below.
